In -newui you can see the number of players on the server once you select a server, it appears on the bottom where the tabs are for filter and such

Seems vicinity of Cape Golova is a spawn point for the Lada 4x, also found one in the hanger at NEAF. Are zeds not respawning? The only places I have seen any is in the coastal cities.

I just saw a military tent up at NWAF on SNG 0-2, but that's a pretty busy place. I found the tent I have in some one elses camp. Greedy bastard had two civ tents, a vehicle tent and a military tent. In the vehicle tent he had an operational Lada 4x, which got hung up on something in and went crazy. Ruined all the attachments on the vehicle. So, instead of the Lada I stole a tent instead. Should have taken the others and threw them in a pond. Never pitch your tents at the end of a dirt road.

Very first encounter I had with another player was in 1pp, I saw the guy walk up, raise his weapon and shoot me. I didn't have time to say anything and he said nothing at all. That sets the tone for me. Today, I ran by two people, one didn't see me for sure. Someone had left the lights on in a Lada 4x and I was crouched behind a bush observing when he ran by, on the road, in the open, I bailed after that, smelled like a trap. The other didn't seem to have seen me but I can't be certain, I was coming out of a house and he ran past about 50 meters away into the woodline. What I know for sure is he didn't try to follow me and I didn't try to follow him. In general, I do my best to avoid other people almost all the time.

argh. Dammit. I was working on getting a Lada 4x4 up and running, all I need was one freaking tire on Aus 0-2 (which was NOT running in 1pp btw) and it's not up. Had a nice barrel stash near the coast there too.

What happened to SNG 02? Have found the UMP mags in barracks Pistol Supressor I one in a police car yesterday. Haven't seen any crash sites yet in the most recent .59, but never found an UMP 45 at any that I found last week. Stuff is getting harder and harder to find. Some loot respawns seem dynamic too in that the stuff there keeps changing once in awhile even if no one touches it. Hard to tell. It's getting harder and harder to be a Rambo wannabe

Ugh, player to player desync is shit. My FPS is pretty good but it was like the guy was teleporting around me. I had the door covered and poof there he was shooting the shit outta me.

Are you sure you are using the "-newui" parameter in launch options? You have to put that in, it is not default.

Still having issues with the holster on the plate carrier and the pistiol. It's wierd equipping it, I can't tell most times if it in hand or not and if it's in my hot bar eveytime I hit that number if falsly dups the pistol (It aapears but it's the same pistol, not a true dup). Bothers me to see it. Does not seem to happen with the sholder holster. With -newui inventory issues are much more annoying than without it. I have to log out and in again most of the time just to see if an item went where I put it or if it is still in my inventory. Some hotbar keys in -newui keep dropping items out of place upon log out and log in. n Along with the having to log out and back in to check inventory this gets ridiculous. Can anyone confirm that damaged spark plugs will not work at all? This happened to me to day, looking for a worn or pristine spark plug to try starting the vehicle again. The battery and all the tires are pristine. It's not a UAZ jeep as I reported before, it's a Lada offroad hatchback. I love that tough little bugger. Whenever I double click in -newui all I get is the item examine screen

Did you validate? You may have to uninstall and reinstall from scratch.

Be very careful driving the UAZ jeep, she likes to roll. Didn't kill me but didn't get too damn far either before I hit a curb and put her on her side...

Yes I was, spammed it no problem. There was NO persistance reset by the way, found one of my barrel stashes intact.

Well, so far, I found an off road UAZ but I can't find a spark plug for it, put a battery in the off roader but could NOT remove it, tried to use a wrench also, did not work either. It will not start, didn't have that issue with the truck and no glowplug yesterday. And, naturally, yesterday sparkplugs were all over the frigging place and I had some stashed but I figure there was a persistance reset, not sure on that though. I am NOT using -newui, will try that but that seems fucked up to work there and not without it. Can still spam water at the waterpump, Haven't tried the barrel thing. I do not much care for the accelerated time scale in game, if resets are every 12 hours how about 2hrs game time = 1 hour real time. I would not mind this, especially with the apparently nerfed movement speeds on foot. Night time kind of sucks now.

WARNING Haven't really read any other posts so this may be redundant. So it would appear the a glow plug is not needed for the V3S anymore. I took mine out of the truck inventory but it kept running. Could not remove the battery. Don't know the sedan needs a spark plug or not, haven't seen a sedan. Running speeds seem to have been nerfed a bit. Anyone else feel that way? Seems to take a lot longer to get anywhere on foot. Still having some inventory issues but not as badly as before. Fire axe nerfed? Or maybe a sync issue with zeds, not sure yet.

Driving is strange. Still haven't quite figured out shifting. At least with the V3S anyway, seems to be q and e but there seem to be many more reverse gears than forward ones. Bug maybe? Confirm on the truck, I had the same issue. Seems despawn rates on somethings is pretty darn fast. I found the two truck tires but being only able to carry one I hiked the 5 k to where the truck was and went back, when I got there the other tire was gone. Not sure if some one else picked it up or not and I never touched it, I just saw it. Just seems like this was happening with other items too. However, I swapped a damage yellow case for a pristine one hours earlier and the damaged one was still there when I went back looking for tires.. Still some inventory bugs, not too serious but annoying, have to log back out and in to see what you really have and where. Most prevelnt issues I had was with attachments for the Mosin.

To be fair not a glow plug and a spark plug are not the same thing and do not serve the same functions. You cannot replace a glow plug with a spark plug and vice versa. The purpose of a glow plug in a diesel engine is to warm the fuel up to a temperature that will combust easily. A sparkplug, on the other hand, actually ignites fuel in a gasoline engine to cause combustion. Apples and oranges. Water usually requires a pump and pumps run on electricity. Same for fuel, yet we can fill a fuel can at a fuel pump but not fuel a truck.
