    Yes i want to take 1 hour to find a pistol and another hour to find a mag for it. then if someone takes the food spawn that takes 4 hours to respawn while the hunger rate is increased so you starve in 2 hours but there is nothing but emoty tin can and empty bottles eveywhere. Then a bandit tries to kill me with a empty marakov because i took the pistol mag and wont be awhile till it respawns. sounds like good times. Pointless suggestion is pointless.

  6. Nope. There is no established order left hence wtf would you need a safe zone? You'll only be hindering pvp, making an area where people can take advantage of somehow (people always find a way to exploit). Besides Zeds already hate Docks those are safe zones. Just make some friends, join a clan, and establish your own safe zone in a city/town.

    i have this also depending on where the item is in the inventory. the use command goes under the inventory. Happens 24/7
  8. i've had a ton of co op moments from 1 other person to 8 random people. yesterday i met up with 3 random guys and we battled our way out of cenero to bolota and then north to stary and the NWAF. one of them got eaten by zeds at stary unfortunately. in the 8 man co op it was a night time map and we made the cathedral in cenero a fortress. we would send 2 3 man teams out into the night to gather supplies while the other 2 guarded. bandits would take pot shots at our cathedral strong hold and at one point one of our team was killed but luckily the other team was nearby and was able to kill the bandit duo.

After playing for quite a bit of hours today and reading quite a bit of posts throughout these forums i find it rather appalling some of the things people say about this mod and the "changes" they would love see made to it. I ll sum up my thoughts as briefly as i can on certain topics that struck me as irrational. 1) PvP Banditry Seriously, WHY are people calling for changes to be made to punish people for banditry?? This is supposed to be a realism ZA sim. There is no punishment for bandits only those who fall prey to bandits. There shouldn't be any extra mechanics in the game to change how PvP currently is. It should be chaos and up to the player regardless if it creates a "Death Match" feel to it. To me, that would be realistic as people would be fighting over supplies and territory which means big cities would be a dangerous place to run into bandits which it is in this game. Man up and come up with new strategies if you keep getting killed instead of whining about "penalties" for bandits. Its sickening how many people crying to turn this into some kind of noob carebear MMO. Its sickening how many people cry for fairness in a purposefully unforgiving environment. Yes the zombies should be made more threatening and their AI glitches hammered out and new content added to spice the game up or give it more staying power (findable missions, explosives working on zeds, events triggering a horde of zeds, more explorable buildings, etc). PS Im typically not a bandit and my last death actually came from a sniper bullet in chenro (i was carrying alice pack, ak74 kobra). It came when i left my cover after seeing a survivor running for red cross tents. i was heading over to see if they needed help when i stopped by the entrance to let em know i was there when i got hit in the back. I loled hard then went and took a nap. Time to restart.

    I think you are not understanding what my sig means. It means that KOS behavior isn't the only way to be a bandit and is the less risking option which should be also the less rewarding option' date=' this would make bandits use riskier tactics to get better rewards as well as breaking out of the circular logic that is I will kill him so he doesn't kill me. edit: the idea isn't to discourage pvp just break the circular logic that we have right now.     not all bandits let their vicims live. and you cant really take someones stuff and leave em alive or hold em at gun point without a fight.

    So what tools do I have to deal with them besides lowering my self down to their cunty level? accept that you got killed. respawn. A) find them & kill them. B) avoid their area It really is not hard to re arm with decent weapons in this game.

You do realize there are people in this world who kill because its enoyable for them. No shocker that this game would bring out someones inner anarchist socialpath hell bent on killing anyone in their cross hairs. btw during the night time you ll find more people tend to want to group up. just had a group of 8 of us (randoms OMGZ!) in the cherno cathedral making it into a fortress with a wall of zed dead at the door. we made some 2-3 man expeditions out of it always leaving 2-3 to guard. and yes there was some bandits in the city who killed one of our groups but not before the other flanked and retaliated.

    there is a huge difference between losing your gear in pvp and avoiding losing your gear by DCing. One is a fact of the game and the other is abusing game mechanics. thats a good fix by rocket. This is a survival pvp co-op game. Not a PvE Co op game. You change the game to where it's not worth shooting other players and the game dies. simple as that.

    there shouldnt be anything to distinguish a bandit from a survivor. Seriously people just need to grow a sack. starting without a weapon would be fine as long as they increase pistol spawns or add some loot to the small towns. its annoying bypassing small towns knowing none of the houses will be enterable.
