Unable to move anywhere, zombies seem to know where my body is but my screen is showing me as being somewhere else and then i will keep getting warped back to my previous position. Getting thrown off buildings left, right and centre. Why would you release an update in this state, did anyone even test it. I am almost certain they did not. Edit : After quitting the game i noticed that for some reason after the update it had automatically opted me into the experimental branch, i changed it back to stable branch but have yet to try the game again.

The latest Frankie video sums it up perfectly. I don't want this to be an argument about Frankie, i could not care if it was Arnold Schwarzenegger playing it is the content of the video that is important. It has so much potential with the gun fight in the middle and you can see what a great game it could be but the rest of it also shows you why it can never be that great game.(If you have not seen it i recommend you go and check it out) Give someone a gun they will shoot you in the face rather then befriend you. Hackers on every server without fail, a massive failure on the developers part, they said they were going to combat hacking yet they have done NOTHING, absolutely nothing extra to combat hackers. I don't see a good future for this game and it is a real shame because it could have been so great. I know exactly what dean meant when he said it was a flawed concept and i agree with him completely. Discuss and feel free to bash on me

Key part of that sentence being 'what if', you can not just label someone who joins a server a server hopper because you killed him, That makes no sense. He is however an idiot for logging out in a building, that is rule number two for anyone who wants to retain their character.

The game will never be finished and if it is it will not be any good. By the time they finish this game arma 4 will be out along with the dayz mod for that which will blow this one out of the water. Basically failz.

And also you can see the guy using the speed hack to go up and down the hill, there is no desync that moves someone up and down a hill without any speed penalty and without the person moving his character or turning him around, desync does not last for that long, desync lasts for about a minute and last but not least HOW WAS HE SHOOTING ALL OF THEM THROUGH THE WALLS, WHAT HAS THAT GOT TO DO WITH DESYNC. I suppose desync also showed the guy where they were and enabled him to shoot through walls, please carry on explaining the hacks with cries of desync, it is giving me a really good laugh here. Also that video you showed has even less proof of a hacker in it except the automatic shotgun, you are so funny. Cant beleive people are staying silent on this, you should be called out for the idiot you are.

Just to clear something up to all the people who are saying 'the standalone has not become anything' your argument is flawed. It is something right now, that something contains a lot of kos people and also a lot of hackers, that is not to say that is what it will be like in the future as the game will no doubt change but as it stands it is still something and as the op says that something is not pretty. Just because it is not finished that does not mean that the game is nothing atm

Yes i don't think any large company's would want to be associated with this type of game, a real shame as i would love it but i doubt it is ever going to happen just like you will never get advertising in grand theft auto due to the stigma attached to it.

I have over 500 hours in the SA, post count has zero to do with anything. It's the same group of ignorant people who try and judge people based on their post count who also say that a hacker is not a hacker and just some desync or bad luck. I have died due to desync, i have died due to lag and i HAVE died due to hacking i know the difference and i know a speedhack when i see one, most people know the difference. Did you guys even watch the frankie video, there was a hacker in it or was that desync ??
