I'm agree with what you said. But yes, it's my fear this game finally turn on extension of arma 2 or 3 with zombies and not survival like intended cause the community. I blame nobody. It's fun i know to KOs. I ve done sometimes too. But i'm not sure of what's your opinion on realism. Are you for things can be useless (like pooping) ? I know a game can't be full-realist as it will be unplayable. i don't mind this feature through the developpment process, but, IMO, it would be a nice cool mod LOL It just needs a basic animation, a script to pops up the little message, triggers anims and plays the correct sound. You are right, but just at this state of game developpment. With all features added i hope this game will evolve in other shit than another testosterone rambo simulation :rolleyes: PAN ! PAN ! YOU ARE DEAD ! So cooooool. okay for some hours, but next, please ! Pooping, peeing, sleeping adds dynamism and deep to the game IMO. I had this in mind while thinking of game's potential with persitent stuff etc... when game released i hope we and (mainly I) could survive in a more long time, and why not establish persitent community to fight bandits/zombies or other community. NuckFuts it was not intended to sounds like that but you can admit geek boys or geek girls play videos games. I was hold by a group of three mans, all full military gear plus gas mak. They surrounded me near a house with withe fence. I had just a weak melee weapon. i showed no resistance against my aggressors. One tell me "Get on knees !!" i obeyed while this guy went on my back and start to cuff me. one other guy starts to talk me they were like KKK and chasing new illegal spawns or other shit. i don't remember exactly. I tell them that i was in need for water. one start to force drink me. The man behind me with his gun staring at my head tells me : "Do you believe in Jesus ?" , "No", i've said. BLAM ! He shoots me in the head at the moment. You are dead. This had happened in the earlier hours of my gaming. Best moment ever in Dayz !

Would you play in any Dayz team ? it so great to travel with mates to the airstrip, and suddenly we hear gunshot from your rignt.instinctively all of threes go on the ground. one put on bino and begin for watching the KO'SER. we decide to move on stealthy but again three shots in the air. We begin to move to the next hiding place etc... that's what i lived yesterday with two guys met ingame. We talk a moment and assume to bother our ways. That's such moments i love in Dayz. It's just spontaneity. And such interactions will grow while devs adding content. When we ll have got persitent base construction and all the other stuff. i m sure the game wil be more roleplay as a sandbox game is intend for RP, no ? Maybe devs needs to force (smoothly of course) players to RP to add more RP elements emphasis with gameplay or the realistic way of the game. Sorry for my poor english

My 2 cents... Just look at Mount&Blade guys ! Some mods of the first MB have been added as features or core basics mechanics in the second episode by the dev team (naval battles, diplomacy... ) who still in dvelopment btw :() It s a good example of how a community can handle making mods, IMO

Just look the first videos two pages before... EDIT : i think you ll need to change your way of playing Days because more the game grow more there will be people who coop against people just looking after PvP...or KoSers

Maybe you ll have to stop to play. Sorry to be rude. But, again, it's an alpha. It's wrote on steam page and every time you launch the game. What do you expect of an unfinished game if not BUGS ? Every game have their development process, and in this process bugs are deleted with time. the release date for Dayz is planned for 2015. So you assume to see more and more bugs until the release date. Devs didn't pull a gun on your head to buy the game, no ? Releasing an Alpha is a startegical and marketing choice from the dev's team. With the money grabbed, they had to be able to hire more people to speed up the development. IMO, it's a good choice. Word to the Wise. Some people here are just so kiddish and immature. I'm not just talking about this post, it's the whole forum... Edit : Wait for vehicules, and you'll see tons and tons of bugs that brings up ! LOL

Agree when i heard KoS is a normal symptomatic feature in this kind of game. However, i'm not KoS fan. I'm friendly...like in my life. This game is on the way, IMO, to be the Mirror of the real life. People with bad behavior, no education and no morale in the real life will act the same in game. Assholes and jerks are everywhere ! The last day, in the subway, i get in trouble with guy who looked at me bad. i was in bad mood, tired, i don't know why after all. But we get in trouble for nothing. So if people can get in trouble just for bad looking in our society, just imagine how it could be easy to get in trouble in Dayz wordl's... World end's, zombies everywhere, famine... Some people needs more immersive behavior to really enjoy the game, IMO.

I ve succesfull killed one female zombie with the little hammer in 2 hits since HOTFIX. Z are not impossible to kill. Harder yes but that's good now. Please leave them as they are :D Honestly it's very hard to survive now as a new spawn. But i like that. i like to spawn and immediately being chasing by a Z. It's just run for you life like 28 days later. It s very immersive IMO... Maybe we need more types of zombies : runners, walkers, standers, crawlers, jumpers lol ? and could we have more gore or decomposed Z, with legs apart, or cut in half (guys, remember this poor female zombie on episode 1 of Walking dead ?) Or zombies blocked in the background, or scratched by cars or obstructed by concrete broken buildings. Just my 2 cts. Cheers
