Completely agree, dayz is way too hard, next they should remove zombies, remove guns and the stronger of the melee weapons. I want a game where the only item available is a screwdriver. Also the map is too big, the sun is too sharp, and the rain is too wet. -
you mention this "problem" that all the weapons have horrible dispersion, its most definitely temporary because the overall balancing hasnt begun and i honestly couldnt care less since ALL the weapons have it. If a single wepaons DIDNT have it, now that would suck.

Choppers need to happen, but i agree they should be REALLY rare, the thing about them is that yes they are really fast and great for transportation and finding bases, but you are such a HUGE target, and not just in the air. Setting a heli down close to other survivors, even heroes, would be quite dangerous because even the biggest heroes has to feel a little tempted with the opportunity of getting a chopper. Huge risk = huge reward. It fits the game. And no it probably isnt "realistic" but zombies...

I recently engaged a team of 3 people at 50-70m with a fully decked out mosin, everything pristine, zero'ed at 100, aimed for the neck and missed. From what i could tell that would have hit his head and if not his head, it would at ateast have hit him, now my question is, how much does leaning matter when shooting for accuracy. Turning a gun at a 45 degree angle would throw off the center of the crosshair by half the amount of distance the "zero'ing" is compensating for both laterally and horizontally wouldn't it? or am i completely overthinking it?

OR!! OR! or... Does your character actually turn your gun while leaning?? is actually a more important question, and does it affect the sights and where the gun hits compared to the scope, which it should. -

So i was wondering whether bigger clothes meant a larger hitbox in Dayz? say compared between the t-shirt and down jacket, or the childrens backpack and the mountain backpack. Do you get hit if someone hits your backpack from the side? in such a way where the bullet would have only hit the backpack.

Probably the end of may. i dont think they would release one before that, with the huge features coming and with the time it would take to test on experimental. But thats just what i think.

So the addition of the binoculars really exited me and when i noticed the binoculars were only taking up one inventory space? (subject to change?) Well i was just a little surprised, my idea tho is change the binoculars to take up 4 spaces, but add either a crafted or looted item like a carry string or well just a rope around your neck which would either be in your Vest spot or another spot completely, so you would be able to have stuff like binoculars around your neck or a water bottle, whatever you can think of. I think that would look really cool. Seems like the response has been fantastic!, people are suggesting adding scarfs and vanity items(various bling). I would also like to point out that if the list of items that could be put around the neck was extensive it might encourage clans and/or friends to carry similar items as to identify each other, also it would allow players to pick their favorite vanity item and over time develop affection for said item (lucky deck of cards, the bullet i got shot with but lived, my favorite fruit) Just random items that i think would make connections between the player and his/her character stronger and intensify roleplay.

Man these freaking server restarts is killing my game experience. Me and my buddy has been playing for some 4-5 hours today and collectively lost 3 guns to server restarts. At first we were playing on the multiplaygameservers servers and they will rollback the map a bit when they restart so when the server restarted we were both holding our weapons and logged out after the "no message received", but one of the times, a minute or two before my friend just happened to be taking a drink, and since we both were running with 2 weapons, it had to be on the ground for the duration. Big surprise when we log in... weapon gone, fully kitted mosin, LRS, compensator, bipod... oh well no worries. and ofc we learned from our mistakes and deducted that multiplaygameservers restarts not long after it gets dark, so when it gets dark DONT LEG GO OF YOUR STUFF. thats fine lesson learned. Because we then had just recently come pretty close to berezino, and we actually wanted to play at night, just for the experience and added tension, we switched servers. To a server hosted by fragnet, and we managed to play some 45 minutes in the dark and we fully expected to be playing on that server for at least an hour yet, but disaster struck.. again. Having just sat down for a quick meal, what happened but another freaking server restart. Another 2 weapons lost, having just found a replacement mosin, we were both running with 2 weapons again. I lost my fully kitted out mosin and he lost his fully kitted out m4....... Pretty much just agreed to take a break from the game a couple days.. I wish they would give a warning, at the appropriate time. Cant be that hard can it? (not a dev, clueless of development)

So while i am waiting for my confirmation email for the bug tracker to report this bug, after trying to find a post on the subject i will ask you guys if you are experience what i am. I have lost countless items to this and so has my friends playing, the bug i think is related to items not staying in their respective spots, when logging out or in. Resulting in containers, medkits, ammo boxes, pistols vanishing from your inventory, my theory at the moment is that the game plays an up side down version of tetris when reloading the items and if a block doesnt fit, it gets removed. So i ask you, are we the only ones experiencing this?? Do you have any advise or fixes for us? I do pay alot of attention to both twitter and the forums and i had heard it was related to having to many containers (5) but just now ive lost my protector case, whilst only having the case, ammo box, and a medkit.

I would ask why access isnt available, but thats really not my place, however i would like to ask if you have any inclination of when it would be possible for all servers to have the warnings by default or at least make the option easier or more common for them to use. Is Vilayer just the only people that has caught on to the availability of the system or are they going out of their way to provide the service?

Honestly the fact that so many people can "only" complain about the long timer, instead of complaining about server hopping and ghosting, means that its working.. If this time wasn't in the game, so many more people would be complaining about being ghosted in the middle of a firefight. Good job devs! dont give in to the masses, if you're going to change it, make it longer. Log out in the woods, inside a tree.. Not in the middle of an airfield. LESSON LEARNED.

Wait wait wait, items in your inventory reduce damage from bullets? Does some items reduce more damage than other? please direct me in the direction for all the information on this. I NEED IT!
