i dont get that hard complaining about an alpha game... sure there are some bugs/glitches, you can accept them or not! while you not accept them, then make a break from the game and come back when ist final. so you got the positiv effect, that you just safed money by buying it in alpha-status! for me it was totally worth, never played the mod. so totally new experience. these some glitches dont change my opinion about the game. what is so hard with zombies glichting through walls, they are easily to kill. there are only a handfull significant glitches, and for real, how often you are confronted with them? in 100+ hours played in never glitched down a ladder, or made a bad experience, that made me mad. so i think it was a win/win situation for both sides. you can enjoy the game earlier. and bl has the money to improve creating the final. and keep in mind, how long would bl have to work on this game to get it to finalversion, when there was no alpha access? i think you could take +1 year on it edit: damn you jexter ;)

it was a trap :) acting friendly and shooting you in your back.

in this situation the m4/sks would be the best choise. the sks is also in close combat not that bad. its like oneshot in chest -> unconsious. with the right attachments you can also use these weapons on midrange, mp-attachments and pu-scope/acog/red-dot/ironsight switching. i never take the shotgun. i saw my brother shooting someone from 2 meters in the chest. nothing happened to him. once i got a shot from about 2 meters was just bleeding. nothing else happened. this is not very effective. one tipp, if you are camping in a barn/building. after you got seen, switch position immedantly, otherwise you ll get in disadvantage and die, like you did :) AND dont even trust freshspawns! always try to control the situation

ehm you took the "k" cpu then it would be better to take a board with a z87 chip if you want to oc. Avexir Core series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory £79.99 £8.70 £88.69 <- i think this ram wont do the job with this board, too. the board only supports 1600 mhz ram. uatx board and midtower, dont know if it fits. edit: i got the same cpu, also 8gb ram, only the gigabyte geforce gtx 760 oc edition exept of the 770. dayz runs pretty smooth on it

i stucked, too, after i tried to suicied there. i got out there by going prone and spamming q and e and he went back slowly

yeah think so, too. i always ran around with a ballsistic worn/pristine and got one headshotted.

i tested it, didnt make this experience. i only ran faster than my other friends, if i had a good health status

the problem is, maybe he was not the one who hacked the ammo, maybe he just looted this. and now you killed him, such ammo makes his round through dayz servers.

i killed and looted a cheater! got about 24789123 +e² rounds in one stack! :) but i didnt thought about yr trick. thx 4 sharing. in my opinion, 8 magazines are way to much, i never had a shootout, where i needed more than 2 magazines. i always carry about 3 magazines and the rest as stacks of ammo, magazines take to much space in the item slots

yeah lets just make it 1 hour, so we can be sure that it wasnt really a combat log! 5 minutes is to long i think. 1 minute would be enough.

only one time i think, but it could also be desync. dont know... but i often find about 100000 rounds m4 ammo, while looting a dead body in electro. and it looks like its getting more

kosler shot no matter what you are wearing :) maybe they force themself to focus killing you, if they see you wearing some interessting stuff :)

its not about love, its about my own playstyle. fighting bandits/kosler/clans. not very cool without gear

hey, your point is nearly the same as mine, after a while you know what to do and where to go. but this experience is the same as in every other game. its like getting the same all time.exept for one point. you and your friends connect to a server, 30+ people, while connecting you see the name list: 3 clans, every clan 5-7 players on it. then sneaking around in electro, you are as careful as you can be and then... m4 shot. -hit, screen blurry black and white, bleeding. you try to cover behind a wall and your heart goes boom boom pow like you got shot in real life :) thats what it is for me, and still after 100+ hours of gameplay :)

how can you chosse your gear as a freshspawn, while i press the respawn button, i get a random character

2 guys camping in a tree and sniping into electro, net very skilly. try going inside electro and mess with some clans there. face to face. then pls post video about killing 19 people

no storage options atm. there is no loot respawn atm, so i think this is why most people server hop. i server hop sometimes if the server is looted to much, dont want to waste my time to find a canned spaggetti in an hour.

so here is the point, you take the disadvantage by your own desicion. its okay, it makes it playing harder on a regular server, respectful. but this is not, what the regular servers are about :) maybe you can make a video about sneaking and beeing unvisible on a 3pp server by playing 1st person, would be interessting

so my friend and i were at airstrip, both fully geared and we had a little shootout against 4 in the forest noth of the airstrip they were in the east from the woods. as we fought against them, they tried to flank us from the hill in the north of the airstrip, and we saw them moving into this direction. we decided to proune and regroup out of the forest. so we moved to the west into the first building we have seen in the north east of balota. i cant remember directly but i think it is a dark yellow house with black walls on the entrence (sorry for my bad explaining :/ ). as we entered this house, we heared some magnum shots about 100 meters away( shots came from the south in direction balota, so it wasnt one of the 4 guys, we looked for him, but couldnt see him anywhere). in this house was a small room for the entrence with two windows, which were on the height of our head. from outside you cannot look into the room, exept with the 3rd person glitch. we were crouching in this room and didnt make any sound and talked in teamspeak how to get out of this area. then we heared someone is walking outside, within one second i saw him in front of the window through the wall shooting inside our room. in the next moment he went through the wall into our room, my friend shot him twice with the mosin. (but he said, maybe he didnt hit him) i gave him a full 20 round from my m4 into his body. (he was about 1 meter in front of me). then i was dead, my friend was dead. he was alive...new spawn, only magnum, only bleeding. what do you say?

doesnt work, you can remove it and look down ironsight everything works smooth, but reattaching it will make it again buggy. relog helps

hm, kinda funny, cos i was looking yesterday in the tents south of balota and there was no loot. exept in the small barrack between the tents.
