Fuck that guy, you let him live as he was server hopping and he still tried to KoS you. Deserved that death and more. Good job serving JUSTICE.

I've experienced this before. Relogging helped in my case.

The only time I've met a friendly player on a low-pop server is when a server hopper logged next to me in the prison at Balota airfield and I decided not to shoot him.

That's what I had assumed at first, but when I went to the ATC I made sure I was in the middle of the room as far away from the walls as possible in case he was inside them, and he was still able to bash me. Well, admittedly, the room is pretty small and maybe you can still punch people from that distance.

Hi, so last night I was playing on a full pop server, hardcore, and went to the NEAF. As I was checking out the prison right next to the ATC, I heard someone speak on direct comm all of a sudden. Although I had checked the area already I at first assumed he was outside, but the sound of his voice was coming from above me while I was on the top floor of the prison. Anyway, he was talking in a funny accent and playing helicopter sounds through his comm claiming he was above me with a helicopter and saying he had reinforcements coming. I was sure he was bsing but I played along since he was pretty funny, and I did what he asked me to do, which was take off my clothes and drop my weapon. He was able to tell whether or not I had dropped all of my stuff and reacted to what I was doing as if he saw me. After I did so, some third guy came in and the voice told me to reequip my stuff and kill the third guy, so I chased the third guy out of the prison, but the odd thing was that the original guy was shooting his m4 from some undisclosed location. It sounded like he was shooting from inside the prison but the shots were clearly hitting outside. After I killed the third guy the original guy started shooting at me with the m4, so I ran into the ATC second floor to get cover. At this point I started to get bashed as if I were being punched, but no one was there obviously. As I realized what was going on I decided to just make a break for it and run in a zig-zag away from the AF, and I managed to escape after avoiding some more m4 shots. Anyway it was a pretty fun experience cause the guy was speaking in direct chat the whole time but this was the first time I encountered this kind of thing, and I wasn't sure whether this was hacking or just some kind of wall/building glitch he was abusing. Have you guys encountered such a thing so far?

I do write notes that I leave on myself but since I tend to die to people who KoS and don't loot the body anyway, it seems to be all kinds of pointless. Still a cool feature though.

My group of 4 friends tends to get wiped pretty easily because of how loud and unorganized we are. Better chance of surviving with just 2 actually. We also don't seek out encounters, so getting ambushed is common. Probably just biased, but being grouped has its downsides.

Same here. Gun out = KoS. I try to be friendly but I lose my shit easily.

I found an LRS the other day on Experimental @ NWAF hangers. It was damaged though. Didn't even want the thing.

I'm a really bad shot since I don't play shooters at all, but I happen to really like the Mosin. Love the look of it, the sounds it makes, and more practically the common ammo. The sporter is a really neat gun but doesn't seem so great.

I don't know anything about guns so not really too invested in this discussion, but GJ keeping a level head and trying to prove your claims. Personally, I'm sure they'll increase the accuracy and effective range of the m4 eventually, but it would be disastrous if they did it in the current game state. The m4 would just be so good and they already spawn very often. Wait for them to add more guns and diverse loot IMO.

For the thrill of it. Friend and I were at Balota airfield, HC, and got stalked by some fully outfitted guy. After he killed my friend I surrendered since I was pinned with only a blaze rifle and very little ammunition (thankfully the guy kept his word after I dropped my gun so props to him) but he plainly stated he didn't need anything. He stalked us for fun and killed us for fun.

Having a lot of fun with them so far. Their detection should be fixed but I wouldn't mind if they were more durable and retained the current speed.

I recently respawned as well and basically just booked it across houses skimming for anything useful. If a lone zombie was after me I'd turn around and kill it with whatever melee weapon I had at the time, but groups I'd lead away from where I wanted to loot or just continue on my way. Eventually got a fire axe (ironically, after I got a sawed off, SKS, backpack, and half an inventory of food) and zombies become fairly easy to deal with. Honestly I haven't noticed zombies hearing anything, it seems based on line of sight in my experience. I've run right behind zombies and they never notice but once I walk in front of them they give chase. Basically fire axe = most important item in the game
