  1. Ah ok, that makes a lot of sense. But my other questions still stand, does the effect stack? Is there a consideration for different types of objects? How is this effected over distance?
  2. What's the point of saying "Infected hear perfectly through objects" then? Did they not hear perfectly through them before?
  3. Have asked this a couple of times in the pending 1.7.2 thread but have had no response, so posting here, as it's still bugging my ass off. I don't understand this. How was sound checked before? (i.e. how is it now in 1.7.1.5?) What about if you're behind a low wall/fence? Does the sound get reduced even if they can/should be able to see you over the object? What about trees? How much of a tree/shrub do you need to be behind to have your sound reduced? What about in buildings? If you're on the inside of an exterior wall and a zombie is on the outside is it really logical to expect they could still hear you sneaking around inside a building, from the outside? Does the effect stack through multiple walls? Does the effect stack through multiple objects at all? Does the effect take into account the density of the object? (e.g. audibility through a a bush vs audibility through a solid concrete wall) I don't mean to be rude I'm just trying to understand the mechanic.

  6. Is it just me or are all the mirror's latest.torrent all 1.7.1.1? Might just be being a noob here...
  7. Lol friendly fire. Mate and I were stalking someone on NW AF firestation roof, got a few shots on him but he DC'd. We then heard tons of shotgun fire coming from the northern barracks. Were stealthing our way up there ready for delicious loots, guy was running through shotty ammo like peanuts. Nek minnit our mate pops up on steam: "Need help, swarmed by zeds NW AF northern hangers, bleeding out fast". If we had been one minute faster we would have popped our mate in the head. Laughed for a while about that one.
