When I woke up into the hellish world of DayZ I would have described these zombies as Romero Zombies. Slow, easy to kill and only really dangerous in large groups. Something happened... They began to change. I believe that something in their brains is starting to wake up. They are learning, becoming faster, stronger, more persistent and harder to kill. They are more like the zombies from the return of the living dead movies I use to watch when there was still power. I fear for the future, they will keep mutating and learning I'm sure of it.....

The 28 days later infected are badass. Yeah agreed when zombies don't get to feed for long periods of time they should go in to a dormant state. Lie down, not move and appear to have permanently expired. They should lunge at you or attack when you are not expecting it. This would require there to be a lot of corpses lying around so you never know which ones are truly dead and which ones are dormant.

Thanks in advance for your answers. I'm loving this game, been killed a few times. I had a kid who sounded like he hadn't reach puberty say "I'll help you mister" and then proceeded to axe me to death. Hope he enjoyed the clown mask and damaged baseball bat. Oh well live and learn, that's on me for being trusting. Questions. What does NWAF stand for? North West Air Field is all I can think of. How does one play this game at night? I couldn't see a damn thing and if I turn on a flashlight or head lamp it would seem to scream "Aim right here" Captaincandy

Ok, I'm understanding that and actually thought about doing that last night tweaking my graphics setting so that I could see better. Here is the real question... Is there night vision gear to be had?
