First of all this is a forum, not Facebook or Youtube so learn to read over your shit so you don't write in broken English. Second, not once did I say "to fix it now" so don't go putting words in my mouth. I am simply making a feedback on my observations and your over there in the bleachers assuming shit so you need to calm down. They can take however long they want as long as they fix the clipping and other glitches. Also, I didn't even say anything about how the zombies can see you from really far....wtf....did you just read the first 2 sentence of my post and make up the rest yourself? Third, there is nothing wrong to take ques from the Breaking Point mod as they already took some ideas from Project Zomboid which is totally fine, because it will make Dayz better. So how about you stop being butt hurt for no reason and learn to read and think critically, before posting a reply that misses what I was talking about by a mile. P.S. The guy who gave you beans, who obviously didn't understand my post, may also want to retake middle school English with you if you guys haven't finished it already. -

Dude its's not about the zombies being hard, people are complaining about how broken they are after the latest patch (0.42). I don't know why it's so damn hard for Rocket to get it right. A mod team did it for free with the ARMA 3 Dayz Breaking Point Mod. Their zombies are near perfect in speed and damage, not to mention they don't clip through walls like Harry Houdini (at the very least they are clipping a lot less than SA). Watch some of the mod's vid on youtube and tell me what Rocket's excuse should be for not delivering great zombies, since they made at least a million with this game already, while a mod team out did them without being paid a single cent for it. Also I haven't even talked about how great the zombie animation and design is on that mod. And chances are, that if your playing Dayz mod/SA you don't want pure PVP since it's such a niche game to begin with and you probably found the game/mod while searching for a pvp shooter alternative, so no. -

Orrr.... just take notes from ARMA 3 Dayz Breaking Point Mod. Jesus Christ those guys did it basically for free and they packed the map with tons of zombies that move at just the right speed, without jumping at you and clipping through walls like we need the ghost busters or something. Not to mention how well those zombies are animated......... Rocket just pick up the phone and hire whoever made that mod, because that's how zombies are done. -

My whole thing is that, instead of working on some unrealistic respawn mechanic, the devs should just be focusing on increasing the sheer number of zombies in the map. I mean, they can respawn when the server restarts but there should be no reason what's so ever that zombies should be respawning at all. You guys should really take ques at how the ARMA 3 Dayz Breaking Point Mod. Now that's what i call zombies. Not too fast, not too strong but their not glitching through walls and jumping at you every 2 seconds. How about we focus more on zombie AI and increasing their count Rocket hmmm? Your wasting a lot of time on that zombie respawn mechanic since it's so unrealistic unless you have something big planned for it like if your gonna use this respawn algorithm for animals or something but other than that, you are treading on thin ice with this zombie respawn thing. Also, the one hit bleed mechanic is totally bullshit if your gonna make the zombie do body shots 90% of the time. Not only can i no longer put shit on my jacket/coat because they all get ruined fast as shit when getting hit by zombies but your also making me bandage every 5 secs and risk getting killed by a fucking player. So basically to get this straight, not only are you making inventory management more difficult because everything gets ruined so quickly when their in your torso, but your also making me risk my neck every time i get hit by a zombie and have to bandage because of that long ass animation not to mention the sound it makes. If your gonna one hit bleed us then spread out where the zombie is hitting and maybe reduce the damage a little. Also is there away to cut off the animation while bandaging? -
This! We definitely need wind drift to be added in the game, especially since hunting is gonna be a thing, i would like to see arrows and bullets being affected by wind drift when operating close to their maximum effective range. If they are gonna focus on hunting, wind drift would be a great new factor to add complexity to the game, especially when you don't want to or can't use traps/snares to catch your food. Increasing the sniping skill cap would make it harder for people who pick up scoped rifles just to get easy kills, since they actually have to practice and gain experience with the rifle when firing in long distances. After they implement the physics system putting in some sort of wind drift should be more doable for the devs and the community should really push for it because it will add another level of complexity in Dayz.
