Well although that in itself is kinda retarded unless east block cars are made from the same tin cans are made of lol, I find it strange for the character to just sit and look around like nothing is happening

nah ill rather have a button which hides or shows the UI, so you can make your screenshots, however I would want it to dissapear after x amount of time

would be cool if you could do this while sneaking behind a player, ofcourse the animation would be very slow (so the player can still escape)

Nah ill expect some foot fetish enthusiasts steal socks and make creepy sniffing noises, then again I might just be overexaggarating Edit: in all seriousness though, it does seem like a good concept however, not needed at this moment maybe in beta, would be cool to have different type of socks to, ankle, thick winter socks, knee highs, and have different effects (knee highs give player more warmth,thick socks will make feet hurt less when not wearing shoes etc.)

Learning how to craft different things by reading books

this has been suggested already by allot of people, even I touched the subject a long time back still its a good idea and should be implented but only for difficult tasks there should be a few exceptions, because those things are too common to be bound by books - Car repair (although a book about reinforced armor for cars could exist, the basics should be accesible to every player) - Campfire building (obvious reasons) - Farming tomatos,potatoes, and melons (maybe for different type of fruits you need different type of books but you need atleast a basic farming skill) -
Im gonna make a very selfish suggestion which many wont like so its more of an opinion only map modding should be allowed. atleast for awhile Because the moment modding comes in we will have maybe 2 vanilla servers with actual difficulty and the rest of the servers will be pumped full with 100+cars and 10 rifles in every house and every possible thing of arma 2 ported in not because the majority of us likes it perse, but because its the best way to get people to join your server and thus I make the selfish remark that a part of me wishes that modding would be limited, although a part of me want the freedom of modding possibilities aswell And many will say, let them have their servers you can play in your own server, but honestly I think vanilla servers will die out then so its more of a concern really, I hope there are many players that will stay in either full vanilla, or small adjusted modded servers (for example extra vehicles and a different map however the vehicles are still very rare etc.)

Seriously 60% of the playerbase knows how to snipe someone from 400m away, and atleast 20% uses snipers I think that as a soft skill sniping should become extremely hard, but the more you practice (for example killing zombies) the better you get at it, if you haven't trained the soft skill sniper then this are the effect you might get - High recoil, as in the scope jerks up so it takes more time to line up another shot - steadyness, as in the scope will move more because you aren't a proffesional military sniper that knows how to steady your aim through a scope - Bolt, as in if a sniper has a bolt it will take slightly more time if you reload while looking through a scope the more you use a sniper (= rifle with sniperscope) the better you get at it so the less recoil you have the more steady aim you will have and the faster you can cock the rifle with the bolt, ofcourse just firing your gun wont do anything but killing living things from a distance does.

Okey I have to say that you guys made some good points but atleast agree that sniping as it is now is way to easy, if I give most players a real sniper rifle they wouldn't be able to hit shit -
Yeah well its more to travel into the contimination zones for a short while, although it wont protect much against tear gas or smokes

Sure it would probably have effects like this - Extreme Blurriness - Losing Health slowly - Coughing sounds If you wear a gasmask then they the effect wont happen

One word FPS Would kill the frames btw bullets can already shoot through doors and fences actual holes in objects would 1. cost 20x more fps 2. all objects need to be remade 3. would take allot of time Maybe modding

if its only possible on grass then im okay with it, wouldnt want a road in cherno filled with graves that would just look ugly, also have the markers only stay for 10 hours (without being interacted) because it would make the game look messy if it stayed forever

for those that dont understand him completely Ill translate it for you guys What the guy wants is, the doors that cant be opened to be opened, he thinks it ruins realism Also he would like some things to get people out of the towns and into the forests more, like - arrows that can be poisoned (with mushrooms) - Mushrooms (btw these are already being added so dont worry) The game should have wind, which makes walking in a certain direction faster or slightly slower you should hear the wind roar through the pinetrees He would also like to see the ability of smell on the Zombie AI, so that for example carrying meat or open cans of food is dangerous, or if youre bleeding they can smell you faster He would also like to see ural bikes (which I believe are going to be added if im not mistaken)

So after watching the amazing new cracked serie : The Stumbling Dead which is hilarious I would suggest that zombies have a certain hunger meter, and the more hungry they get the more effort they will have to chase you maybe some way to see how hungry zombies are? Like a certain type of stance? and maybe if they are really hungry they might occasionly attack one of their own and eat them (would be pretty scary to see a zombie eating another zombie while smack sounds (or whatever it is called in english, the sound of eating food) and zombie moans echo through the nearby streets Edit: and here is a link to the stumbling dead if anyone is interested Have an amazing day
