Not really interested in mods and new maps... I prefer the vanilla Chernarus. The rest is amazing, can't wait for the new renderer that should be closing up on us real soon. ;)

Don't think so. The sway might be caused by a 'sneaky arm fracture' sometimes when you've been hit by a zombie it might have caused an arm fracture without telling you. Try applying a splint or morhpine and check if the sway is better.

Previous patch it was as if our characters each had a black hole in their stomachs, 1l water won't even make the 'thirsty' go away, really? This patch our stomachs are the size of a meatball, two swigs from a well and I'm stuffed.

I've actually had a pretty spread out location for action recently, with new map changes people travel a lot more than what they did before. NWAF is still the same though. ;) And welcome back!

Would be cool if you could actually see the plane crash as well as the helicopter crash in the future, and that this would happen randomly depending on the rarity. So that players can look to the sky and kind of pin-point hte location of where they crash. Also, I know you didn't write that the Commercial Airliners would have firearms or weapons, but I just want to make it clear that there should be -NO FORM- of weapons/tools or any of that kind considering today's airport security.

Many types of headgear would prevent a K.O. Alright then, let's say fists are not so efficient anymore. What do you want? Secret agent level of strangulation? Some kind of martial art 'touch of death'? I really don't find it hard to gear up to the level of being able to defend yourself. Improvised stone knife is a newly added item to the game. Find a gravel looking texture and now you've got an item that works pretty much as good as a kitchen knife or machete. Otherwise you could always search the other two houses down the road and you'll probably find some form of item to use in melee (especially now with being able to put practically anything in your hands and use them to fight).

I don't really agree with that, I agree with what Warhoax implies and it's not 'stupid' if a player with jeans and shirt can't win over a player who's spent weeks gathering supplies. Have you played the mod? People fresh from the beach had absolutely no way of defending themselves. I can kind of see your point, but I think it's just going to be too much work for too little gain to implement what you wish, mind you that not all players have Terminator skills, if you knock them out and scramble their stuff on the ground it's going to be really confusing for the player who's knocked out, and by this time I assume that you've got his gun in your hand, and it's taken 30 seconds for the player to wake up again. If he does anything stupid, then you're in control to take his life.

I'm sorry but what you're asking here is inefficient. If you knock someone out you can just check his gear, drag all of his stuff out into the vicinity box, which literally takes less than five seconds to strip him completely.

Even if I too have grown a paranoia around unknown people I still believe in something greater. Countless times after I've been killed by people I thought I could trust have I many a times sworn that I'll never trust anyone ever again. Doesn't mean you can't be friendly, just be on the edge around people, you just have to trust the vibes you get after the first impressions with a stranger! ;)

Could see an event like this possible on private hive community servers. People can't be enforced like that on a scale as big as the DayZ playerbase, though. I know for a fact that people tend to be nicer towards the holidays though, I myself practise those arts and it's always nice to see a fellow survivor who only wants to cheerish the festivities. :D -

I agree with the idea of just playing cause it's fun. If you run into new stuff or stuff you haven't found, it's just going to be even more of a surprise when you do find them. It was only recently that I found my first AK. :) -
Huh? You use WASD, don't you? Don't see why you'd want a different way of steering it. Look in the controls and see if you can rebind it if you want it change the keybindings.

Have been thinking the same thing. I also want to see something done with water + powdered milk + rice + cooking pot = Something similar to porridge.
