I suppose it would make sense to lose your ammo when you swim, can't imagine it'd be too good for the gun neither. Swimming with a backpack containing all your shit is also a pretty dumb idea, I'd imagine it would float out or something. Do as you would in real life, if you desperately need to take a swim, then ditch your stuff on the beach before you take a dip.

Who's idea was it to make spawns in Berezino?

As far as I know they are making a great deal of towns in the north part (Around Berezino and Svetlojarsk) Chernaya(?) and another town (seen in the devblog) arelocated around Svetlo. It makes sense to move spawns there to TEST (Early Access, Alpha, testing, etc) those areas. The spawns will obviously change, hell a lot will change before the release. -
Good to hear! To the people wondering what to do besides PvP, I pity. You'll have to find out on your own as gameplay is different for everyone.

Might work if you're unarmed and you face down the ground. If you're in the open and a guy with a LRS scope you out I think he can tell whether it's a death position or simply prone, but if you're in a woodland area you might have better luck.

I'd love this in the game, huge support for this. EDIT: To be able to spray paint on a group's base wall somewhere would be amazing as well. Like, sneak up on it while the group is out and leave a mark on the wall in red spray. "This afternoon you die"

I'm saying that base building in Epoch is 'cute' as people make all kinds of 'castles' around the map. Hell, kind of similar to wasteland. EDIT: Nice picture by the way, reminds me of Disney Land. *cough* *cough* *wink* *wink*

Hmm, so far I've had: FNX (that I never got to use) 1911 (that I never got to use) CR75 (that I never got to use) Magnum (that I've used a couple of times, on players) Amphibia S (that I've used countless times on zombies) That makes the Amphibia S my favourite gun! Love that thing, so much satisfying shooting zombies in the head without worrying about the sound.

Are melee weapons supposed to do no damage or are zombies just very resistant?

Just roll with a one-handed weapon, I choose the machete over any melee weapon nowadays, so much more accurate and it's like 3-4 hits to the head. -
Ugh, can't say I'm too excited about mod support, don't know if that's just me though. I just don't really know what they'd include with modding, I hope there's a way to stick to a vanilla server, a private hive vanilla server even. To me Epoch doesn't feel like DayZ, I think it's mainly the NPC traders, just seems waaaay off. Base building is cute but if that wasn't included Epoch would be pretty shit.

I seated myself next to a rock, just above Stary Sobor in the hills while I read a book in real life. Super relaxing to have my head phones on and hear the birds chirp and nature doing it's thing. -
