In my opinion this would be an excellent addition to the bow and arrow, I'm not thinking that it would do extra damage or set people on fire, I'm more thinking about what Jfiles said with setting hay bales on fire for distraction. And frankly, it would look hella cool in the middle of the night to have like 5 guys on top of a ridge shooting flaming arrows (Just my imagination).

...Well yes, but there are still people with M4's as I said, even if your friends had to ditch them due to 5.56 not being obtainable, the fact still stands that if you had a character pre 0.45 who had an M4, he will still have it. I had a friend who ditched his as well because it was 'too mainstream' right after the patch when he didn't know that they've literally become the rarest weapon in the game.

Nah, makes sense for them to be at crash sites, and crash sites are rare. I've never seen one atleast.

If you have an Nvidia graphics card, you should have something called GeForce Experience. Go into that, then go to games and simply select DayZ and optimize it. Nvidia will optimize it accurately based on your computer specs, some of these things may be correct, and some may not be. The importance is that it helped me when I got the 'fuzzy screen'.

Have you tried optimizing it with Nvidia? I tried it and it worked.

I've had an issue where the edge of the water looks weird, but not like this.

I swear there's a new animation for sprinting, I joined experimental a couple of minutes ago and it FEELS like I'm going slower than normal while sprinting, it also seems to be a new animation for it, I noticed this when I looked at the legs. Maybe this is only me, but (I know I might not be right and it's the same animation as before) I like it, feels better not going as fast as I did before. Anyone else noticed this?

It's not supposed to shoot tracers, it only fires tracer rounds when you chamber a round, if you find a magazine and fire like 5 shots there are no tracers to be seen.

This just screams Far Cry 2 for me.

People would just use this to troll (It feels like) but it would be great for a serious player. Maybe this belongs on the RP servers to come, or as a moddable thing when modding gets supported. EDIT: Child zombies would be a good edition though.

Look how good and authentic it looked before. Before they bent the bolt just so they could adopt a silly modern day optic mechanic with 100 year old guns. The spray mechanic is okay in my opinion, gives more variety and personality I do, however for darn sure agree that its wooden texture is sexy as fuck! :thumbsup:
