I'm sorry, but I couldn't really understand some of the things you said, anyway. The guy was in the middle of the street, the nearest cover was a house 10 meters away, which leaves him really exposed and trying to run behind a house would probably lead to certain death. I just can't really comprehend that you ACTUALLY suggested combat logging, I knew you were a KOS'ing kind of guy, but combat logging is definitely not the right choice here.

It entirely depends on the playstyle, I would put my weapon down, as the enemy can clearly see me and I can't see him, and he hasn't killed me yet. Therefore, the smartest thing to do is to comply as this will give you a better chance of surviving than trying to escape. 'And found the enemy' <-- Might be easier said than done, pal.

As much as I agree with you, I think there were strong reasons to believe that the guy had murdered the other guy, whether it was in self defence or not, we will never know. But he even gave him warnings to drop the weapons he had and if he'd comply I think he would've lived through it.

When the server restarts it might revert back to a couple of minutes (at worst) to a location you were in before, meaning that the items you recently picked up will not be in your inventory. But losing all your progress sounds weird, you sure you didn't join a hardcore server? They use a different hive, meaning that you can't have your regular character on a hardcore server.

Dear guy I met in Gorka on experimental UK not too long ago. I was heading west from Berezino after realising that the majority of the city was probably looted, and I as a fresh spawn was desperate to find food and didn't want to go into downtown Berezino due to the large amount of players that were present. As my feet clopped along the asphalt road in a calming rythm my character kept reminding me about how incredibly hungry he was, I had hopes of surviving and I knew Gorka would be a good place to search for food. When I reached the town the first thing I notice were all the building doors being open along the main road, I took a deep breath and decided I had no choice but to enter the town, at this point it didn't really matter anyway. The police station seemed to be as good a place as any to search for stuff, so I walked inside, my character still heavily breathing after having low blood sugar and running three kilometers. I enter one of the bottom floor rooms and that's when I hear footsteps behind me, I turn my gaze over my shoulder and I see you standing at the bottom of the staircase, with a rifle lowered. I panic for a split second and quickly press the push-to-talk key to tell you as calmly as possible to please not shoot and that I'm friendly, you raise your gun and aim it at me, I gulp. I'm dead, is what I'm thinking. You tell me to put away the knife I have in my hand and to drop my backpack so that you can confirm that I am no threat, I comply. You lower your rifle and the situation becomes more soothing, I realise that you're not going to kill me and I thank you for it, and we bid our farewells before we go our seperate ways. Not ten minutes after, I made my way up a few houses and am now searching the blue medical building after having found some food to keep my alive, as I scuttle, almost sniffing the floor looking for stuff, I hear zombie screams outside. I'm thinking they're after me, but I'm inside, they can't possibly have seen or heard me. Oh, it's the guy I just met, I think, and I go to take a peek through the barred up windows, I see two survivors running past the building I'm in, armed with rifles and three or four zombies chasing them. I exhale in releif that they didn't think of entering the house I'm in and when the coast is clear I exit and look down the road to see if they're still running, no one in sight, I'm clear. I turn around to continue looting upwards and I see a dead body on the road from whence they came. At this point I feel even more lucky that they didn't care to investigate the blue rickety medical shack I was in, and I quickly make my way up towards the body, and as I get closer I recognize the pitchfork and motorcycle helmet. To my horrific discovery it surely was you, lying dead on the road. I put the pieces of the puzzle together and I see the scenario in front of me happen, a friendly guy I met merely ten minutes ago is now food for the flies, at first, I got sad, after that, the sadness converted into anger, knowing that the two bastards who did this are now running down towards the south, probably snickering at how easy it was to gun down someone who didn't stand a chance with an empty .22 sporter. Yes, I took your gun. I saw that one of them had a boonie and the other one had a yellow raincoat, atleast that's what I saw. I will hunt these men, and I hope that death finds its way to them, as it found its way to you.

For crying out load, as Amias said. Join a full server, let's see if you'll get very lucky finding weapons at Balota or any other airfield for that matter. "I can play the game however I want, if this is possible it's a feature." People who play it like it's meant to be played aren't having these issues, atleast not me and several other people I know who play. So find a decently populated server, STICK TO IT after you loot a place and you'll get the 'survival feeling' that you think is missing.

I played on experimental today for quite some time, they've definitely release a working hotfix on there. (Atleast for me). They said that if the experimental is working without any issues they'll release the hotfix to the stable branch tomorrow.

Alcoholic tincture (Both the bottle and alcohol included here) + rags + matches/ligher = Molotov cocktail. Would be pretty cool.

Then just play the mod, you're not getting anywhere with wishing people to die apart from a fat report to a moderator who will give you a spanking.

I won't tell you how to play the game, as i've said to other people, if you're happy with spending 22€ for THAT kind of DayZ experience then I can do nought but inform you that the game is far more enjoyable being played how it is meant to be played, in my opinion, and many others. (I also try to find servers that doesn't restart until it's been up for a very long time, I like the dusk/night.)

I think it really depends on what wound it is, if you get shot in the gut I highly doubt that you can just run around and spend five minutes as a blood fountain and just have the blood coagulate, then be on your merry way.

Oh god, they added canned bacon in an update, what in the actual fuck. This, this is just too much... This game is all over, it's just going to go downhill from now... Soon they'll add bacon that isn't canned, and after that they may add bacon hats and that's when the entire game just combust and vanishes from existence. I understand your concern, this must not happen!

Yeah, damage would be great if it was increased. For some reason I want them to be able to grab you, and you have to do the Q-E to get loose (Shouldn't take more than a 3-4 clicks) maybe this is just me though. ^^

In the mod the bodies of zombies stayed and they sometimes carried loot, mostly tin cans, though with the occasional can of soda or beans. I'm not sure if this will be making a come back.

I think someone made a similar post, I think it would be cool to make your own camo (Adding branches/leaves to your balistic helmet and spray painting it etc).

They are going to make the vehicles really complex, just look at some posts the devs made or look at the latest devblog video. I think it will have what you want and more in it. ^^

I honestly don't know what you mean really. Are you asking if the AS 50 belongs in the game? And are you asking if a gas pump explosion belongs in the game?

Leaving in an explosion when you do a said amount of damage to a gas pump. Leaving in a ridiculously powerful gun which has NO part in the DayZ universe. Are these the same for you? Logics.
