DayZ commander has the option to download previous versions of the game, so maybe try to downgrade to 1.7.2.4 and see if it helps? But it's weird to see that some other people are having the same issues.

Any news regarding the tents? I have one and it doesn't seem to be working. JK! I know some players that used to play DayZ and they didn't even make a forum account, and i imagine there are a lot of players in the same situation. What if all those players decided to make an account? Wow, that would be a nightmare.

Are you serious dude? You think they are actually doing everyone a favor? We are potential costumers, and they are developing a product. We're not getting payed to test it, but here we are, testing and at the same time having some fun, but everyone is doing their part. Stop carrying this flag and think for a second, they'll probably get A LOT of money when this gets released, tell me about "being thankful" when you see rocket riding his ferrari with a trunk full of beans. I'm very anxious about the standalone just like you and everyone else, and since i'm willing to put money on this, OBVIOUSLY i need some information and feedback when possible, so don't blame people for that. In the meanwhile, waiting for the next update! B)

That's not entirely true. You can easily see that the FPS in Arma 2 and DayZ are very different. Mostly because Arma 2 map isn't crawling with zombies and a huge amount of loot spawning on the floor everywhere. So yeah, DayZ has it's issues otherwise servers wouldn't need to restart, since if they take too long to do it, the FPS starts dropping A LOT. But obviously we can expect some improvements when the game is fully released.

I tried to figured this out but with no success. Tried almost everything, saved multiple times in different periods of the day, in multiple tents, and every single time the result is the same: empty tents. Yes, like GroomExGtE said, there are a lot of tents with gear inside, which makes me think about how people managed to do that. I don't think they would risk NVGs, AS50s without being sure that it would work. Please guys, if you are a successful "camp builder", let us know how you did it! Makes us less eager to find your camp, since we can have our own. :P

If you pitch the tent in a server, it will only work (be there) in that particular server. Yes, everyone can get items from the tent, and they can also put items inside it (very unlikely). And yes, they are very bugged right now, not saving gear as they should, and if you pack the tent to move it someplace else, that old location will still have a tent after the server restart. PS: if you find a way to save your gear properly let me know.

Vehicles and tents are not saving properly, at least most of the times. We'll have to wait for a fix, but in the meantime don't put much hope on your camp.

OK now i'm VERY horny. Those videos are amazing, love ALL features shown there! To make it GODLIKE PERFECT i would add the use of bipod on the floor or on flat objects like cars and walls. Man, this is really amazing, nice video.

I support this idea. Maybe some sort of iron sights or something? Maybe the range should be increased too as well.

Just look at that camp dude, the amount of barbed wire/tank traps, not to mention the gear inside the tents. Everything is obviously hacked, so i don't see a problem in posting this kind of thing. Let them suffer a little bit!

The tents are probably the main reason that made me stop playing for a few weeks. I'm waiting for a fix of some kind, it's really sad, i have everything i could possibly want, so the tents at this point are like a new objective or something like that, and they just won't save anything. Lost a lot of stuff at the first time i tried, i was dumb to put so many things inside it instead of just one can or something. Now i'm kinda waiting, i don't know about the vehicles since i only have a bike, and so far it's saving properly (but i don't know, maybe it's just the bike?).

Yeah i agree, i love to start a fresh character. It's amazing to run around the big cities with no pressure, no fear to lose rare equipment. When i get something good, fun just slips away, i start to hide too much and too far away from people. I wish i could do different, but that's just the way i roll. SAD!

Good anti-cheat + BIS hosted servers = PROFIT! I'm done with hackers and community hosted servers. Bad combination!

Well, everyone is capable of killing. But i rather kill a guy wearing a bandit skin instead a guy wearing a hero skin (assuming i'm not with the killing on sight mood). But of course, anything can go wrong in a million ways in this game.

Dude, trust me on this one, play a little bit more and you will see that with or without a starting weapon, it makes no difference. You can find a new weapon (primary) so fast when you get used to the spawn points in this game, that after some time you'll probably PM someone to delete this thread. Just keep rolling, you'll get used to this.

It can't get any worse, so yes, i and most people believe it will get better.
