Did you try using the Class name GLT_LHD to spawn it?

Are you adding it to a server? If your able to spawn things just use the class name: GLT_LHD Hope that helps.

A pro pilot wouldn't land a chopper on a steep slope and expect it to not slide down hill...

The above posters are right. If you don't have an action available you wont see anything in your action menu. There are missions in Arma 2 where you start with no weapons. You won't see anything in the action menu until you approach a weapons crate, a vehicle, a door etc. If people would just play some of the Arma 2 training missions they would learn about the actual game they are playing and would be more prepared to play the DayZ Mod.

It's called the "Action menu". If there is an action available, it will show whether you have weapons or not. You can also use the Enter key to access the Action menu and use [ and ] to scroll.

Hmm, just going by the icons in these screens, this must be an earlier version of DayZ when these were taken. Was this area of Green mountain set up differently back then? I don't remember so many mass graves or people hanged :huh:

In regular Arma 2 it requires an ammo truck to rearm a chopper, plane or any vehicle that has a gun on it. Seems like making ammo trucks as a relatively rare spawn would suffice.

I always heard that Black Lake was kind of a strange place so I decided to check it out while doing some hunting in the area. I didn't expect to see much. I approached the lake from the west and as I got a good view of it I thought I saw something crossing the water. It was late in the day so I thought it might be a reflection or a bird flying low. I got a bit closer and saw that whatever it was, it stopped near the shore so I quickly took these screenshots: Would have taken more but about a minute later I was looking at the death screen.

Never respawn. The point is to survive, not to have every item you dream of.

Not really a good idea to disconnect in a dangerous place like that. You should find a place to hide when doing so or you may get shot as you log back in.

Check your DayZ and beta version and match it to the server you join. Also make sure the ping of the server is good. If it gets hung up on "Load" or "Creating character", just try a different server. I never wait 3 to 10 minutes to join a server. Just wasting your time doing that.
