OP, i think you are joining servers that are in the process of restarting when this happens. Try to only connect to servers with some minutes ex 9:14, 11:28. Make sure it is past 5min. This never happens to me and i only play on servers that have been up awhile.

Ever seen anything crazy in your screenshots? Like u take one of your bro in every town, look at it later that day and notice a clown mask guy in the corner of every pic?

To expand on this: if you can reliably kill a charging zombie in 1 shot with an axe, then you probably know enough about their behavior to be able to kill them with a crowbar or machete. If you can take out a group of them with one of those non 1 shot weapons, then you can probably punch them dead. Otherwise, run until you have the weapon you know how to use.

When this happened to me I reacted by spamming vault and quick sprinting. I slid across the rock with my face and was launched into the air. You are dead.

In one of the videos there was a man that would lay between 2 bushes late at night off the highway west of elektro. When survivors approached they would hear the man mumbling. But as soon as they got close he would go silent and just watch them. He never tried to attack anyone, but if they stared at him he would move around and snap branches off the bushes. Sort of like he was uncomfortable.

Im pretty certain there is no occlusion culling happening at all in dayzSA. True multithreading is also not supported. When those 2 things come in, potato and ps4 should be able to run the game just fine.

I would like to know this as well. You can tell when youre loading in and it shows the server data, but before that the only way to tell is in the server name I think.

I would head to the myshkino military base, it is one of the scariest locations on the map imo. There is no safe path into the base, you need to cross a decent chunk of open field to reach it no matter your approach. This is one of the only locations I feel almost forced to scope out the entire area.

I always write notes too, and i check any paper i find for a possible note. Once persistence is worked out and paper is included in the saved data im sure well be seeing notes everywhere.
