I'm sorry to hear they have you a bad time mate like Irish said chaos like this will always be part of the game. Bandits are the reason I play, they make for good shootin' and tend to get ragey when outplayed. Don't let them get to you treat everyone as a threat untill the prove they are not one, this doesn't mean spray down every player you see just be at the ready, a lot of people tend to flip out and do stupid things when they see guys with guns. Only put down those you need to. Don't hate them or fear them as this is a sure path to the dark side, You will be a bandit in hours if you let hate of fear make decisions for you. Take being shot on sight in your stride, learn their tactics then proceed to hunt them relentlessly, makes for good fun.. Hope things work out.

I have some of the worst Internet my country of very poor Internet has to offer I lag way less with this patch. Sorry to hear you lag more. I'm sure if it's not your Internet things will get worked out in the future, try back later I guess. Tho this is unfortunate it's to be expected with an alpha build

Iv tried being nice to people, that got me killed alot or punched in the face, tried nice again with motorcycle helmet got punched less but axed more, now im cold to the plight of others in the game i see some kid with a broken leg calling for help maybe if im in a good mood ill shoot him in the face but 9 times out of ten ill walk away because most times its a trap set up by some bandits to lure heros into help then shoot them in the leg take thier pants and gear then leave them there to crawl away looking for zombies or to starve to death either way not pleasant.

iv found tap fire with the M4 to work really well for short to mid range engagements so for me its the M4 with a buis or carry handle optics, although when i die next I'm planning on trying out the SKS to double check which i prefer the most, just giving both guns a fair shake of the sauce bottle...

I don't want to mention games but there is one that is very broken and has been out for months and is gradually getting worse as they release more DLC, its a twitch shooter made by a company backed by a massive corporation that now has the power to ruin what could be the best sci-fi FPS ever created now that Mickey Mouse sold them the rights to create it, join the dots you'll figure it out. DayZ standalone which has been created in a basement in comparison to the title I'm talking about feels better in its alpha to me personally than the game I'm trying so desperately to avoid mentioning directly. I commend the DayZ dev team for doing the best they can with what they have, fetures will come in time if i get frustrated that something I want isnt there ill play something else untill it is, but im sure when it comes it will be done right and if its not it will be removed untill they can fix it, just my personal opinion. You may come to a different conclusion with the same evidence and form a different opinion and I respect that because at the end of the day is'nt that what a forum is all about? :D

One hitting zombies with fire axes is lame I like the fact that multiple zombies attacking you is potentially life threatening just practice killing them with blows to the head, I know the melee is clunky but my friends and I have figured it out well enough. Zombies should be scary during all points of the game, they are zombies after all, there always should be a thought in the back of your mind am I about to get ravaged by some flipped out crack head who isn't a player??

The only binoculars Iv seen are the ones in the hands of a dude i shot with my mosin probs ruined his day like how he ruined the day of the other 2 dudes he gunned down as i watched thru my LRS. I hope to find a set soon or even after i die next because i like to people watch and add my own words to the silent film I'm watching from far far away - with hilarious results - perhaps in my own mind only... Does this make me crazy??? probably... But now I can be crazy without the temptation of cold blooded murder to deal with :-)

I'm just thankful this game is more polished in alpha than some AAA titles are at full release, I know barricading will get here some day and Im happy with that...

I haven't noticed a change in finding the rifle its the ammo i have trouble with now, lets be honest most people that server hop to horde 100's of mosin rounds will fire maybe 2 of them, but for me over a play session I find it really hard to find any, in towns or in military locations, which is fine by me really just stating my observation in regards to the rifle and its ammo. Maybe its because there are a few more ammo types in the game now that are in the same spawn table, I dunno that's just how i rationalize it, perhaps its the same with the weapons themselves or as Pilgim mentioned stuff spawns where it should now, which is most likely the case.

airfields, military bases and military camps they are the few places ill shoot on sight unless the town i run into is clearly hostile.

im pretty sure everyone is going to feel the need to snap one off just as they get infront of the school in elektro should make for some interesting sniper montages!

I have a 760 and my mate has a 780 we both have never had the game rolled to max but post patch my frames and his frames are vastly improved i guess it was hit and miss optimization im sorry to hear others didnt get the perfomance boost

Textures seem simplified on buildings thank you for this, even tho it doesn't look beautiful the fact that i can view more simple textures at 60+ frames per second in cities as compared to 15 frames per second yesterday makes the game feel alot better. The mouse felt strange for about 5 min but im used to it now. Lag and desync is non existent for me now post patch so thank you again. There isnt as much stuff like gunz and wool coats in this patch like the last one but what is there feels alot more polished than what was released last month. The game looks and plays alot better post patch well done on the update, also Zombies are hard to kill and i find myself panicking when there are more than one of them and I like it!!

i dont think that dude even seen you, totally could have taken his pants or just ADS and shot him the the head but anyway you got it done in the end even if half of Chernarus heard it happen and you ruined a perfectly good tent....

I think walking and running is dangerous enough in the stand alone, fix my chalky bones first an then consider it perhaps.

I use a BUIS if I can find one. Turns the M4 into a beast. Doesn't cloud your perifia vision at all with pin point accuracy down range. Also try swap all the parts of the m4 with better condition ones as you find them I think that helps.

I "thought" i seen a guy axe murder another player in elektro hospital so i shot him he was dressed much like you are, it was a snap decision based pretty much on 1. elektro lol yeah axe murders happen and 2. his gas mask. Reviewed shadow play footage he was axing a zombie aggressively and trying to help a person with a broken leg. I feel bad about it but yeah it happened because of the gas mask and the location i guess oh and it turns out i blasted the dude he was trying to save as well I figured he was already dead... so with that said there is a chance if i seen you moving around a place like elektro and you didnt try to speak to me then yeah id probs shoot you.
