Was stuck in the school once too, fiddled around with F3 and my back against a wall and everything. Then I ran against the wall for a while, then logged off. Logged back in and as soon as the game was about to be ready i hit "W" and hoped my char would get through before the objects loaded. It worked.

That somehow makes me think of an "friendly" encounter I had in the mod. At the southern hospital in cherno, near the appartments, someone hid in said appartments. I had two bloodbags on me (restores your blood to100%, cant apply to yourself). I was trying to talk to him and said I wanted to bloodbag him, he said he did not need help. I watched him getting hit by Zeds though, so I said I'd come up anyway, even if he doesn't want to. I walked up the stairs, he instantly shot, but missed. I yelled "allright man I get it, i leave my gun here, and will come up now". This time he let me pass even though I had a bandit skin. I bloodbagged him and asked him to bloodbag me in return. That was the whole purpose for me. I was low on blood and needed it more than him. Attracted by his gunshot, a huge train of zombies invaded the appartments. I picked up a gun he had dropped or I had in my backpack (can't remember) and we shot our way through the appartment hallways, out into freedom, never to see eachother again. And that makes me think that the reason no one needs a medic is the fast healing speed once you are energized and hydrated. In the mod you'd have to eat ALOT if you wanna get healed without bloodbags. Medical supplies are obsolete. Saline is hardly ever needed, you can do without. No one really prepares bloodbags. Most of the time you are either hit very lighly by Zeds, or you're dead by gunfire. Morphine is obsolete and Bandages are worse than Rags, which can be made pristine with Alcohol and also only require 1 rag to make a splint, instead of a 100% bandage. Don't even mention epinephrine...

Its not a lag, its the bug that denies you to attack, need to relog.

Horses probably could be one of the best vehicles in the game. No motor sounds, easy to hide, easy to feed, no repairs.

The problem with kidnapping is that you can't force-walk handcuffed people. You have to communicate everything you want them to do and this is noisy and takes too much time. I want to put my arm around them and make them go the way I want to. That would speed things up and reduce the danger for the kidnapper. That would increase the likelihood of me trying to capture people. I believe hardly anyone is solo out there, so people worth capturing are always in company and that company can shoot me when trying to communicate to the victim where to go. EDIT: BTW Exodor, your screenshots look wrong. Do you have the same gameresolution as desktop resolution? And also the same UI resolution?

Why would I thank them for doing proper zombie pathfinding (which can't be called proper right now)? I might thank them when zombies quit detecting me from 500 meters range. Regarding zombies, nothing changed for me except "bring more bandages". I still don't consider them dangerous after I figured out when they hit you from a distance. Also to the other guy who said he never experienced ANY of the bugs stated: You are probably playing a diffrent game, not him. Or you played like one hour of 0.47. But unplayable? No, actually not. Though its very frustrating at times, esp when the "you can't shoot/melee" bug happens, esp in the middle of a firefight.

Thats right, but the turning speed and stability makes a huge diffrence imo. With an AKM I have lost closequarters against FNX, and as FNX-user won over AKM guys. Eitherway, if you happen to get a M4, I'd try to maintain it for as long as possible. If you have 2 mags that mostly guarantees good battleperformance, and the ammo is sometimes very elusive, other times it's there for the taking. I had luck. The guys we killed carried a whole ammobox of 5.56mm.

M4 currently is the best assault rifle ingame. Fastest rotationspeed, most stability, least recoil, shoots on spot even with vanilla attachments now and can be spraypainted to your desires. I just got my hands on one again and tested it. They definitely changed it. Do the attachements from AK101 to AKM even affect anything? I did not notice anything.

That would be the case if this was RL, but it isnt. Both just slightly decrease dispersion. It should be the bipod that reduces recoileffects while deployed properly, but it doesn't. Mosin already shoots perfectly accurate with a compensator, no need for bipod. Also note that Bipods are now restricted to guns who have Railsystem handguards. (AKs, M4s) The other questions: M4 bayonet doesnt even work to open cans at this point. CZ either doesn't have attachements yet or no model for a LRS-CZ and therefore has no available attachments at this point. My question: Why would you even hunt? :P It's a waste of time. But if you do hunt, use a small caliber weapon and a pristine knife. -combatknifes are crashsite only atm.

The two of us roamed around Novy Sobor rather tired because of no action. Suddenly I head "Hey! Hands up! Drop your weapon!" I ran, got into cover and made the AKM ready. We found him soon in a small wooden shack behind the policestation, shot him a couple times but without success apparently. Then I walked up to him and told him to come out of the shack with his weapon on his back. We had two AKMs and I told him that. He had a Mosin. He came out, we forced him to drop all his stuff, took a couple SKS rounds, forced him back in and forced him to log out. No blood spilled this time. That's why I chose this story. Not the best overall, but the best story for him. Also NinjaStyle...why the cutoff end?

Hackers must download and often purchase an external software. Dupers can just dupe when they feel like it. Also duping should in comparison be much easier to get rid of.

I don't know. Sounds cool, really, but I'm skeptical that it actually happened. Sound's made-up. A "freshie" as you called him, with nothing on him but a can of beans a pen and a paper? That's almost too convenient. If it really happened, even better. I'd like to be wrong on this.

Well, someone who has the time to post almost 4000 posts and read alot in the forum has no time to actually play the game...i suspected that, and it explains alot in some cases. (not necessarily meaning gibz) Anyway, has anyone seen a hacker recently? I went through a week without finding one!

I kind of like the idea but it has so many flaws. I assume though that servers would fill up faster because people want the game to be running, and ALOT of unnecessary servers out there will be dead. I can't think of a better fix before Private Hives, and Private hives bring alot of advantages, like taking out looting on empty servers, but we will pay in another way for that gift. (vehicles x500%, weapons, disneyland like in epoch with cars you can never enter if you dont have the key.)

No. Ingame systems that determine if you are "good" or "bad" will never work.

They are dangerous because they hit you while standing outside of the house you're hiding in or while standing in the 1st floor when you are on the 2nd. They are also annoying because you can't outmanouver them. They see you from 500meters easily, through walls and if you are on a slightly higher ground, they'll always see you. You kill them, they respawn and come at you again with instant aggro.
