Imo the OP just fails to know that you don't log into freshly restarted servers too soon, or you will be deleted. Which is because he never actually plays the game seeing as he has nearly 3k posts and only 165h of dayz and he bought the game in december 2013. Nope, no trading. Check out the Mod. Has loads of diffrent ammo and no trading whatsoever (I'm playing dayzero, which is basicly vanillaDayZmod with improvements, no savespots or locked cars bullshit). People just stick to the most common ammo and toss anything else unless it's ammo for a badass weapon as which the AK-74U or whatever it is, does not qualify. It's just another AK variant.

Doesn't make any actual diffrence, does it? I dunno how people are so caring about the correct ammosize when the impact on the gameplay is nill.

Who actually cares, can we maybe get a burstfire weapon like M16 or AN-94? That would actually make a diffrence. Also sniperrifles that are actually equipped for real longrange shots without being forced to constantly fuck with your FoV, and actual machineguns.

You're kinda right. If we didn't abuse the doubleholdbreath-bug, there would be no chance in hitting any target, ever. Sniping often is just shooting someone, missing him and scaring him away. Atleast on the NWA. Most of the time our sniper doesn't bother taking a shot, and he's a great sniper, always has been in dayz and arma. Now with additional lag and still bugged impacts at higher distances (as in: invisible impacts) it's rather luck-based if you hit or not. Esp a moving target.

You won't change, You are what you are and some bitterness is understandable here after going deep into the game. At first I was very negative, then I played the mod again and understood what they achieved so far and was very positive, but at this point it's semi bitter and semi hopeful, since they basicly can't keep any prediction they do. Also I still remember: "What if everything would have turned out as they expected? What kind of game would we have if they only sold 250k copies in 2014? as they predicted?" It wouldve been a mess, maybe to such an extent that it would be utterly hopeless to ever expect the game to be properly finished.

Weapon balancing, fixing acog, making FoV unusuable while scoped in, change ironsights/reddot perspective to pre 0.41 and fixing desync with bullets.

Nevada, its called looted servers And the reason for the servercrash like that I witnessed once. Some asshole I was playing with then duped the fuck out of him, 6 times or so within seconds. That made the server collapse and display still players there, and that's why its mostly so few people. Assholes go to empty servers to dupe their shit. Nevada, if you want loot, then go to a freshly restarted server. Most servers restart at 11 or 14 o clock, some on 12 o clock aswell. Any other time is hard to predict. Check the time on the server before you connect. If its 14:02h, loot is still likley there.

Thats because the server crashed and got stuck. It happened to well known servers once for days. For days I had a server always exactly displaying 36/40, and I couldn't ever connect. There are no private hives yet, and no server genuinely spawns loot. on stable atm.

New hack: Godmode. Two of my guys hit a teleporting hacker with about 80 bullets. Nothing happened.

How is demanding evidence arrogant? He could've posted a vid of it and I wouldn't have asked. He can be mistaken and it might be a bug, since many people are shitty at analysing clues, it might be the case. How many times have I casually been called a hacker while being 100% legit? Where was the crazy part? No one yelled something insane or did something unusual. Also please note that NO ONE cares if you are a virgin at killing. NO ONE. You don't need a damn justification to kill someone. It's common place and the only thing you can actually do in this game right now that is entertaining.

It's 10 minutes unless a player is idle nearby. If a player is nearby, the corpse won't despawn at all.

I did explain this about 3 times now. Let me find my post. I posted a workaround on this, but it got merged into "I quit / This game is bullshit" thread. Let me quote myself: If a server went down due to restart and you connect again on the same server, this will cause you to be a freshspawn. Connect elsewhere, then connect on the server that restarted earlier. If you connect to the restarted server and find yourself a bambi, DO NOT just reconnect there! It WILL wipe your character, connect elsewhere first! If you notice a ridiculous long "wait for host" the server is about to wipe your char, disconnect! Or: just wait before you connect to the same server. If you are getting "Waiting for host" more than 5 seconds. Hit escape and try again a minute later on the same server. /edit: Admins keep merging the topics though, so people have a hard time to find this easily (Yea I know it's not intended but seriously, why do you do this? Aren't you too tired of reading this posts? Why don't you finally sticky it in troubleshooting.)
