Have found em in .46 experimental but NOT in stable yet. So far the evidence points to: crashsites atm not spawning. In DayZ mod, the Crashsites have been a feature that serveradmins could manipulate. Maybe something went wrong with the serverconfigs. Remember when Tentloot was gone for a long time and it suddenly appeared again one day without the need to patch the client? Seems to be a serverthing. Esp since now every militarytent with a wooden floor does not spawn loot.

As far as I know the shotgun is bugged. Only 1 shell per pellet instead of 9 how it used to be before the infamous 0.45 patch, Shoot it against a wall and see the mess for yourself.

1st Issue: So...did you try shooting a zombie with a LRS mosin at about 500 meters? It's almost impossible. The character wont stop shivering and moving the crosshairs left and right uncontrollably. It's a nightmare, really. I tried it while prone, with a bipod, and I was not exhausted. Still the phenomenon remained. What do you think, bug or feature? 2nd Issue/ halfrelated rant: Also they unfortunatly did not fix the flawed weaponzoom with ironsights, though they claimed their introduction in 0.44 was a mistake. Remeber how it was before 0.44? The ironsights took a larger chunk of your screen. Since 0.44, you can see a large part of the Buttstock in ironsights mode, making no sense whatsoever. The characters eye needs to get closer to the ironsights again... :(

Another tip: never prone in closequarterscombat. You need mobility.

I regret going for a custom racing-motorbike jacket instead of a hoodie, it doesn't look much like a dayz character now. Its not finished yet either and actually she has feet and hikingboots in the original, but my scanner is too small (A4, sheet is A3). I plan a rifle on her back, but M4 or AKM? Also she'll probably wear a baseball cap. Face might get some refinements as well, and maybe a blackeye or some bruises. Suggestions welcome, tips aswell. I wrote my rage against the fanbois in the full knowledge of Hicks' posts. And he underpins my case that this is/was a BUG. But the fanbois refuse to acknowledge that it even exists. I am smoking the fact that I headshot a guy who, as his only headapparel had glasses with my m4 and he was just unconscious. We got into talking, and he confirmed his glasses are ruined now. As gr8mghtyp00 said, bind multiple keys to "hold breath" and use them simultaniously. M4 also is almost rarely affected by that bug, probably explaining my high sucessrate, esp vs AKMs. The bug is kinda gamebreaking, i see many people who love the game lose the will to play it. They just fucked with weapons too much. First the shitty zoom, then no impacts, now this. It's unbearable. But most of you fanbois will find excuses for anything. You refused to admit its even a bug, or that it existed in the first place or told me and others that we just had broken arms, esp when I told you that I used two splints. You still refused to believe it or test it yourself. And when you said you tested it, apparently you turned off your critical thinking capabilities. I wonder how you guys find the cause of anything in real life. I grow increasingly bitter about this forum, not about dayz. It's a pile of misinformation and denial. The only reason to get here is the occasional guy with a clue who told me about the double/tripple holdbreath button a week ago.

I actually agree that is rather easy to find a tent, and gibz has a point too.

One heli on each server is bollocks imo, must be atleast two so the sky can be contested. Also, nothing more than a Huey would make sense. But there is a textured blackhawk model in the game. If you approach crashsites from the distance, they have a "repaired" look on them. Until you get close enough for them to look destroyed, you can see the model change from a grey intact blackhawk to the destroyed black one. Btw I think many of you overestimate helicopters. The best an armed heli (Im considering hueylike helis only, so armed transports) can do is shoot down other helis, or exposed vehicles. Hitting infantry is very hard and it's easy to hide from one since you hear them 2 kilometers before they get vision on you.

That shit was introduced with patch 0.44 I have no idea why they did this. It was fine before. Now I can see the most part of my M4 buttstock when in ironsights, its like the character has the buttstock resting on his chin or chest. So yea, you're right. The reddot/ironsights are too small, obscuring critical areas of your target often enough, esp when you don't zoom in. It should look again like pre 0.44, or even closer, and adjust with +/- if i want to pull my characters eyes away from the ironsights to gain more field of view (makes sence in close combat).
