I was shot in the leg by some sadistic bandit and was left to crawl naked to Novo. Upon getting there, I was punched to death by the same guy, who recognised me, took off his pants, made several noises of perversion as he crawled around on top of me, then ultimately killed me. Yikes.

Agreed. A few of my friends and I have banded together to form a UN peacekeeping squad as a role-play. I'd suggest you do something similar.

Alright guys, I'm not ranting. I actually really love this game. The lack of content doesn't bother me. Nor does the high amount of banditry/KoS... More targets (lol). Nothing about the game bothers me all that much. My worry is that one day the full game will be out and by that point I'll be sick and tired of DayZ. So, my question is, is a break in order? Should I get off the forums, stop playing the game for like three or so months and come back later? I have other games, and I'm sure my family would love the extra face time. Plus, it would give me a chance to train for that 5K run I've saidI'd do for about three years now. TL;DR... Should I take a break?

The words Balota and PvP are ALWAYS together. Don't expect any friendlies at any airfield lol.

I'd suggest another server, firstly. Epoch is difficult with bandits stealing your stuff every few days. However, if you're set on this server, make a small base out of wood and then go around the map lifting/towing abandoned vehicles. Take them to Stary and sell them. Soon enough, you'll have your plot pole.

I think melee should be fixed before guns become rare. I mean, if there's one gun per server and we're all running around with pickaxes, guess how many of us won't play anymore. Melee system is ridiculously clunky. Please make it more fluid before reducing gun count.

Really cool idea. Would also lead to some cool rp, although a huge orange playername may or may not break immersion. Eh, what the heck. Beans to you, sir.
