    Because DayZ is a different game than ArmA and I like the playstyle of DayZ better. The fact that my clan and the clans we battle are using DayZ differently than it was intended is the fault of the developers and their design decisions...they might as well accept the fact that their game has turned into a PVP MMO environment and embrace it.

    This game has been first and foremost since day one a game of PVP, other players are your #1 biggest threat. Survival elements including eating/drinking and zombies have been secondary due to their low levels of threat. At no point did I ever request an RPG. All of these weapons are no different in performance and firepower than the AKM and the Mosin's already implemented in the game.

    The great M4 delete

    So the day of the patch all of the m4 ammo i had in my ammo can is bugged so it disappears when you try to load it in a mag...then a few days later I log in to find my M4 and all it's attachment are missing....I guess Dean and co wanted the M4 gone pretty badly. maybe they could have just gave me another gun in place of it....it took me a long time to set that M4 up so it resembeled the real AR-15 I own. Plus, they keep adding stupid unimportant stuff and at the saem time screw up important game play mechanics like the long range scope being useless now....WTF.
  4. Title says it all...FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX THE FRIGGIN WALL HACKS ALREADY...it cannot be that hard. for the jail just fill in the textures and turn the empty wall areas into rooms. or add invisible jail bars to the areas where clipping is a problem.
  5. From what I read they only fixed the part where you could see into another room by standing against a wall and being in 3rd person. I have not read anything about fixing the wall clipping issue. Real hacks are detectable because they change file data or stream data, like the speed hack but these wall hacks are harder to detect by the anti-cheat and the dev's need to fix them. they are not hacks per say, they are glitches. You cannot fix all the hacks but you can fix the glitches.

The areas of the game that are mostly being exploited are the jail and ATC at airfields...they have "rooms" with no doors and non cheating people cannot enter them, thus making them an easy place for the cheaters to lye in wait of their next victim....the easy solution is to add a door and make those rooms enterable by everyone thus eliminating an advantage the cheater may have.
  7. Before you tell me this game is in Alpha let me remind you the devs are working on adding cooking...COOKING. Cooking should not even be on the table while simple yet seriously important game mechanics are so badly broken...I can put up with bugs, missing features, regular character wipes and little content but broken PVP mechanics in a game centered around survival is completely unacceptable....this is pre-alpha crap....let me explain. Long story short....im on sniper hill with two friends, one is on the peak (top), and two of us are 1/2 way down. two players come up hill and engage our friend on top...they don't see us standing 75 yards away from them at an equal altitude from them, they are completely focused on our guy up top of hill, they are crouched, we are prone....I shoot my Mosin...hit ground in front of me...I go crouched, shoot hit ground in front of me.....I stand up...shoot, hit ground in front of me as if I was still laying down, I move left then shoot my remaining 2 shots, then a reload, then 5 more shots all go into never-never land. the friend standing next to me is shooting with his M4, open sights, in the end he shoots 54 rounds of ammo and thinks he might have hit one guy once but he didn't go down, just thinks he saw some blood....we are out of ammo and they run off un-damaged......this is complete crap. we should have tore them up.....we had complete advantage and surprise and firepower....most of our rounds should have hit them and killed them several times over...maybe I should go back to Battlefield 4, at least I can shoot a guy I'm aiming at.
  8. I know there is a know bug that affects shooting while prone...I stood up and was standing and still had the problem...an un-reported bug? I can find no reference of this bug.
  9. No, I was about half way up the sniper hill overlooking Elektro. The bandits were also 1/2 way up the same hillside, we were not shooting up or down at them, they were directly across from us. There were no rocks or trees near either us nor them. We were standing for most of our shots, the bandits were crouched and behind no cover and we were both aiming center body mass.
  10. I am not claiming to be hardcore, but merely stop the silly responses attempting to explain proper shooting stance, bullet trajectory, Minute of Angle and MPBR theory.

  13. We were standing for most of our shots...it only took a few shots for us both to realize something was not right so we stood up, then we moved and tried again.

Your just stating the obvious here....my sights are attached to said barrel, if I waited long enough for my sights to reacquire said target then said bullet will shoot out of said barrel true to my aim. I was getting a bullet hitting the ground directly in front of me animation while standing and not near any cover or trees or anything. As for stance/stamina/health, I was standing, in the bright green on energy, hydration and health. I was not out of breath.
  15. <---- see that pic, that's me, I own more guns and shoot more rounds per year IRL then you will ever dream of. I do not miss, especially at a target only 75 yards away whom was not behind any cover whatsoever.
