I have had the pristine compass that has the directions backwards multiple times...i thought it was a very common issue.

So the issue where you sit at the "Wait for host" screen for half of the servers out there is still not fixed?

I have so many it's rediculous. #1 Recently I was in a room with some loot on the floor, I moved to a clear spot and put my gun on the floor to change my weapon and some gear around and the gun dissapeared, I searched the whole building inside and out for it, logged off the server and came back into it and searched again, the gun was gone, it was an AKM with PSO1 and 75rnd drum mag...took me a long time to find and gear up that gun...so maddening. #2 I shot at a guy 20 yrds from me with an AKM and emptied my 30 round mag and didnt hit him once...really..then he runs up to me and hits me with his axe...im dead. #3 The Mosin point of aim is so far off if you dont have the range set right....it's like these idiot devs have never shot a Russian Mosin Nagant before...and they are Russian....I own 4 of em. I should be able to set my sights for 200 yards and shoot at someone 400yards away and easily hit them just by setting my aim point a few inches high on my target....instead the bullet magically flies 4 feet over my target somehow defying the laws of physics. #4 I could go on and on

Why do all the servers say they are unable to connect to the hive?

Please fix whatever changed to make my PC lockup when I Alt+Tab out of DayZ. Before .049 exp it was fine and I could alt tab out and adjust my TeamSpeak settings or whatever, now the game crashes so hard it requires a complete PC reboot to recover.

My clan was at Vybor the other day and a guy ran up to a clan mate and killed him, then he turned to me and said "die bitch" and started punching me in the face...no one could see him.

In a real life apocalypse KOSers is what most of the planet will become...it's realism, suck it up and deal with it....combat logging is not a real life option, learn to play the game without cheating (aka combat logging).

Because realism... Nobody gives a crap about your wasted time...if you get kidnapped by a kid and tortured then that’s life...suck it up and hope you can wiggle free of his badly damaged handcuffs and knockout punch him before he can put down the bottle of disinfectant and figure out where he put his Makarov with one bullet left in it.

I like to carry the FNX45...but i admit it is my 3rd gun since i carry a Mosin on my back and an AKM in my hands pretty much all of the time. Ammo space is mitigated by finding an ammo can. I can switch between the two depending on what position my clan needs me to take, overwatch or door kicker. The biggest problem to two-guning it is whenever you stop to eat or axe a zombie to death you drop the gun in your hands and the gun may or may not be where it fell to the ground, especially in a house it will often be found out in the front yard somehwere.

Otherwise your PC build looks pretty good except that 6 core is a waste for gaming, no games use more than 2 cores and an i5 at 4ghz will blow away an AMD at 4.2ghz for gaming.

Maybe you are accidentally hitting the G key while running? thats the only time I've ever seen a weapon get thrown from a player and it is common for anything that is thrown to disappear...the fix is to unbind your G key to disable throwing of objects, its hugely broken right now anyway.

My clan has a catch and release policy, we often try to recruit them if they sound mature enough but if they dont want to join we give them food/water and send them on their way. If they have a gun with ammo we take the ammo, set it on the ground and make them come with us for a few minutes...then set them free to run back for their ammo.

In fact, that right there is the reason ammo is so plentiful is because not only do we find the occasional box of ammo but most mags come full of ammo, I found three 75 round drums for my AKM once...talk about an overabundance of ammo.

I agree with the OP, I think all guns should spawn with an EMPTY mag in it and ammo should be harder to find than it currently is.
