You have arma 2 and arma 2 OA? Have you launched both games once in steam? Did you accidentally join server where you need to download another map/mod?

For me, it depends how I feel at that moment. If I feel frustrated and angry, I will KoS. If I feel myself calm and peaceful, ill help others. And sometimes I either KoS or make friendship, depends from the other guy :)

Saw tha in another post about the problem the arma2_ka52 is part of arma the only thing i can think of is the install didnt go properly corrupt file (i think this is air2.pbo) or combined operations isnt running have you tried running dayzcommder and seeing if that launching it right you may need to set the path in the settings the other thing is it could be an error similer to the gog version where it puts an extra slash on the path maybe if you take a look at your registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Bohemia Interactive Studio > ArmA 2 and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Bohemia Interactive Studio > ArmA 2 OA and for each of the MAIN and DATA check to see if at the end of the path it puts a backslash ie D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\ <-- remove this if it is there

You can always try to shoot or hit your melee wep on somewhere. It will attract zombies from miles away.

Mod if you want more content now and SA if you want new content to play with which comes up every now and then.

Choose a different gamemode. I suggest maybe superheroes. It has npcs taking over villages so just go snipe those.

Or possibly just attract zombies to kill you or drink/eat something poisonous?

If you werent a bandit, you can check it from murder board in trader cities. Its pretty obvious to find if you know what you look for. Bandit deaths wont show up. And notice that the board resets in restart.

Dont have any d-sync, rubberbanding or anything harmful atm :). First patch for me which doesnt have any issues for me.
