Usually new patch to stable stage is <500MB, fix patches are smaller. Network is needed but more likely its your computer which causes lag issues (or the server which is 90% of the cases). You are able to play almost anytime. Check devtracker to know when servers are down, but experimental servers are usually more often down. -
Hello, Aamunkajo here (ingame also Aamunkajo). Im leader of clan [NuGa] and I like killing zombos and evil sneaky bandit snipers. And my favorite time consuming thing is base building, usually to Castle Rog ;).

Electro and Cherno are death traps ^^. Its more safe at airfields which i find rather funny. People get end game gear by server hopping or just playing. Usually the first one tho. Then it changes into fresh spawn bambi killing death match 7.0 . Visited few times Cherno as a fresh spawn, died in 5 minutes. 85% of those deaths in same situation what you had :/.

Take my beans :), i want to surround my future base with cans so i know if dirty little bandits are coming to join the parties. Also if animals walk to my tin-can-alert-system-7000,they may cause some panic when i think its bandits xD

Game/profile cant just disappear like that. I had this problem with arma 2 operation arrowhead but it worked when i just opened arma on other account. But if i understand this clearly: you used ur brothers account and it opened dayz with ur character? And then you try with your computer, opens dayz and you got your brothers character? May be new bug that it switched your profiles somehow, no idea how tho. -

If you go unconscious it takes about 1-3min to "wake up". Atleast for me and my friends ;).

I saw in beginners guide that there is an 1% change to get some kind of brain disease which cant be healed, only slowed with something. May have been it? -
Server i play on almost fills those criterias but safezones are on stary,klen and bash + there is donator things which are: Combo locks and chainsaw (obtainable without donating ofc ). If interested still, check OurGaming Epoch.

Well, if you cant find hospitals, police stations etc , you need to learn the map bit more. Learn where you spawn and figure where these end game gear holding buildings are. May help in future ;)

You are not doing anything wrong. Its just there isnt respawning loot yet. People raid those houses and there will be loot after restart. Maybe those servers have not restarted in a while? Never give up, you will get loot :). It was hard for me at start.

I agree with DMentMan, its a way to stop server hoppers. If it would be only 60 seconds, everyone would be hopping servers.

99.9% of the times you meet a bandit, he/she will kill you. So whats the point if you die :p?
