I know that ladders are currently a bit buggy, but I had an idea when a friend was climbing up a ladder below me today. What if he was an enemy player, or a zombie once they can climb? If I have a stone in my backpack I'd like to be able to drop it on someone climbing below me. What do you think?

You should understand there is a certain risk in using ladders in DayZ. It's well documented.

I've always loved the gas mask and ballistic helmet combo. Would love to see it back in and haven't seen any reason why it shouldn't be. The clipping argument really doesn't make sense when a Dallas mask clips right through a cowboy hat. -
I think a stomping option would go well in DayZ. Why double tap and waste precious ammo when you can just stomp your problems out?

$30 for the full game now instead of $60 when it's done. Buy it and sit on it. Or maybe you'll end up enjoying it and helping out with the bug tracker.

Zeds should be able to damage it, but not nearly as quickly as they currently do. My cloth brown hoodie seems to take more damage than the riders jacket before being ruined.

LRS spawns in police stations and garages

Unfortunately it's on my regular char. I've got a pristine hand guard, pristine wooden buttstock, two 75rd drums, a 30rd mag, and a worn PSO scope. I've run from the new huge city up north, down to Svetlo, through Berezino, Elektro, Cherno, and finally to Balota. Then up to Zeleno looting the military base on the way to Zeleno and Green Mountain, Vybor came after that, then through the NWAF. I can't find this damn gun. -

I found a pristine LRS in one of those 3 floored buildings with the blue doors. Not where I'd think I'd find one but I happened to be carrying a Mosin at the time to so I was ok with it. I prefer the SKS or M4, but I want an AKM and don't want to use its ammo up on the SKS. Since I'm running around with 2 75rd drums I suppose I'll pick up the next SKS I see. -
I was playing the day the patch came out and ran into a fresh spawn. I'm usually friendly so I was giving him some food and he said "My clan is coming up on us. Don't worry." Then 4 fully geared guys come running up and give their buddy and gun, backpack, etc... Since I was friendly they invited me onto they're teamspeak which I joined. Wasn't in it for 5 minutes before almost every one of them was complaining about not being able to dupe items like they used to. One of them said he could still do it but not to the degree that he had been able to pre-update. I left their teamspeak after hearing that so I don't know much more on it.

Since the northeast spawns were added I run through Elektro, Cherno, and up to Balota without a care in the world. Once I'm at Balota I'm a little more careful because of server hoppers, but it's usually a no risk high reward area. -

My fiance takes over when I need to leave the room for whatever reason. Other than the times she has taken over for me she has never played DayZ, but watched me play quite a bit. She has 5 kills just from taking over for me here and there. Here I am thinking that I was a fairly ruthless player...

They aren't hackers. They are cheaters. The only thing they are capable of is typing their credit card number. -

My thread wasn't about the current status of hacking in DayZ. It was about terminology. Now it's in a thread with over 1000+ replies and will just get glossed over. Edit: Sounded ruder than I had intended. -

Honestly the people that cheat in DayZ are not hackers. They are script kiddies at best. I've always thought that calling them "hackers" just undeservedly boosts their ego. The majority of them most likely bought what they have off of a website and never even wrote a line of it. Thoughts? -
I have to say without the new towns in the game yet the far north spawns are pretty lame. You're almost starving before you can even get to food. When I see that open space in front of my spawn and think of the city that will be there it makes it ok.

Please point out where I said I support cheaters over DM players. I've quoted the text for you to make it easier. Once agian, I was showing disdain for your play style. I'd suggest you do some deep breath excerises, take a walk outside, and enjoy your Memorial Day weekend. But fuck me, I guess.
