If you're wet make sure to wring out your clothes. It doesn't say you're warming up when you're hypothermic and next to a fire but you actually are. Just sit by the fire and eat some beans. -

This is a fairly common bug. If you ever log in to a server and your character is reset just logout and into another one. No reason to jump between 1st and 3rd person servers. -
I'm waiting for them to nerf the distance of the magnum. Until then who needs a mid range rifle?

What does it have to do with hackers? I've never hacked and enjoy the ballistic helmet gasmask combo. It's just a neat look on a character. Duct tape has been spawning since day 1 and didn't have any actual purpose until .50 so what's the big deal? It's also not something to "add" to the game. It's something that was there that should never have been taken out.

It's important to point out that human steak is only one part of a balanced diet. You need to eat your greens as well people! Seriously though there should be some kind of negative effect for long term cannibals in this game. Human meat doesn't have all the vitamins we need to survive long term and the psychological affect alone would drive most people over the edge.

I have as well, but have you found a mag? I haven't found a single AK mag since the new patch. I know they're out there but at the moment it almost seems easier to look for heli crashes and a M4. -

I have yet to die of starvation, dehydration, or even get a "hot" message since the latest patch. Not saying it was easy but it's not all that hard. Why are all you people wearing shirts and not eating? -

Actually the cold packs in the lower part of the picture look very similar to ones I was given after a surgery. I didn't open it but it seems like what was inside was some type of powder and a tube. You break the tube, whatever is in it mixes with the powder, and it gets fairly cold. They were pretty much garbage immediately though. The cold only lasted for about 4 or 5 minutes.

Maybe the devs could even make it snow on Christmas. No one would be fighting because we'd all die of hypothermia!

Like I said if the player is geared then yes the ammo is worth it. I have enough long term friends in DayZ. I'm not looking for more. If loot spawns are reduced in the future using ammo on players seems even more worth it. If I'm starving to death why not kill the guy with beans? And if he doesn't have beans why risk keeping him alive?

If I see a geared player and have the drop on them they messed up. If I can one shot kill them I'm going to even if I only have 10 bullets in my AK101. After all a geared player may have a couple boxes of 5.56. If it's a fresh spawn I tend to help out cautiously, but rarely do I stick around them for long. No one knows for sure but it's likely that you will be able to run your own DayZ server in the future. However it is very unlikely that it will be connected to the Hive. It'll be a standalone DayZ Standalone server. -

In the mod I had my own private server. By had my own I mean I literally owned a HP Proliant DL380 that I ran the DayZ mod on. We had a large group playing on it so at the time connecting to the main Hive wasn't really a concern. Does anyone know if I'll be able to connect to the Hive, private shard or public, with my own server anytime in the future? -
Newspawns asking to get killed

I'll admit I've killed a new spawn that ran up to me asking for it, but it was only because I wanted to test out the fire axe on a person after the .48 update. Got all the information I needed. -
That's the official response they gave but I still don't understand why. The main reason is that just about every other headgear/mask/balaclava combo clips as well. The payday mask and cowboy hat are much worse than the gasmask and ballistic helmet were as far as clipping goes.

Yes, flash bangs can be found in barracks. As far as tents go I don't think they spawn anywhere but castles and apartments. I know they used to spawn in deer stands as well but can't say since the new update.

I suppose those Xbox One and PS4 sales would be enough to entice them. Why do so many people assume that the devs are going to take the money and run? I'm honestly curious. I've seen no sign of that being the case and would figure if that was their plan they would have done it already. Instead they hired more people.
