    Oh the things you see.

Lots of great stuff up North. Wouldn't want to ruin your experience by telling you what and where though. Go check it out! It's always a blast camping heli crashes.

    Gold Desert Eagle .44

All I've been hearing is how much of a realistic, survival based game DayZ is going to be. How is this realistic in any sense? We're in poor Chernarus not Dubai. Really hoping this is a joke. It is a fantastic model FridockShir. Keep it up :)

question regarding persistance and dead bodies...

You should not be able to get gear off of your old dead body. I hope this was implemented.

    Weapon Changes

I've been waiting for he Mosin to take a serious hit on accuracy at long ranges. I'm happy. I've never been a sniping type player, but I'm going to enjoy the combination of the Stary tents and the SVD.

    Persistence question

From what I understand as long as you check your backpack it will reset the time it takes to disappear. Just to be sure I've been picking mine up and dropping them again. Haven't lost anything so far.
  6. Do you know how much that would hamper my looting? Camping the hill by Vybor military base on low pop servers and sniping hoppers is my main go to for high end loot.

    Lunch Parameters

Tuna in oil is the way to go. The tuna in water only hit the shelves because of the health nuts. Secret tuna salad recipe: Add a little soy sauce. On topic, I can't help you OP. I don't set launch parameters for games in Early Access. If I remember correctly invalid launch parameters made the development build unplayable for a few folks 8 or so patches back.

Can Someone Explain What This Means?

After crossing the 1000 hour mark I was considering taking a little break from the game. Then they go and do something like this...

    Servers from abroad

Yes and vice versa. Ping time will suffer though.

Survivor Gamez VI Discussion Thread [SPOILERS]

I'm sure it was the same when someone first started throwing a ball around. That turned out pretty well.

Survivor Gamez VI Discussion Thread [SPOILERS]

I enjoyed SGVI even with the networking issues. The ending of SGV was better but the heli crash and truck at the end of SGVI made things pretty enjoyable. Was considering trying to sign up for the SGVII qualifiers. Just knowing where North is might be a leg up on some of the streamers ;)

    Tatanko's April Social

That was raBit. Story teller and farmer extraordinaire.

    Tatanko's April Social

I would also like to extend a thank you to Odin Lowe for playing the guitar around the camp fire. Especially when he started taking requests!

    Tatanko's April Social

Here's a bit of what I got. Still have to go through a few.

Odin at Tatakno's party. Just hanging out.
  17. With all the talk about helicopters around here could you imagine taking one out by throwing a spear into its rear rotor on take off? It would be glorious.

Any info on the 24 hour cycle bug?

That's a terrible way to run a server hosting business. I was recently toying with the idea of getting a server of my own. Originally I had been thinking Fragnet, and after this I'm definitely not choosing MPGS.

Any info on the 24 hour cycle bug?

About 7 posts up Hicks just mentioned that you can set custom static server start up time. To me that sounds like you can set the time your server picks up after a restart. Set it to 10 a.m. and no more darkness for your server.

    Beware...

I think I've posted this before, but this fits ladder death stories in DayZ
  21. I honestly think the cooking system was the main reason this is happening. After a little more advancement there we'll probably see scarcity again.

Was going through some old screen shots and found one I originally didn't think was interesting. This time I saw what the zombie in the back was looking at.

    troll level 100

I don't pick up bottles that are lying on their side as a rule. Until that's fixed no dropped bottles for me. Besides there are so many wells on every route it would be hard to die of thirst.

Has the increased difficulty had eny effect on KoS frequency?

Not really. It was one instance. Hardly something to base your hypothesis on. The reasoning for my decision was something that existed when the SA first came out. Nothing new about .55.
