the problem is not the Hackers, is the Script kiddies. Most hackers are not even interested in the game, just the cash they making from making cheats.

Nah... i meant "more is more", any feature that makes the game better is a "good" feature, stop restricting developers with your illusions of "gaming evolution".

If you want to use your "imagination" play with carbon boxes..or toy cars....or both....But this is a PC game and programming have gone a long way since we used to play Asteroids just shooting at rocks...Less is no more, MORE is more.

State of Decay and Project Zomboid..So much stuff in that two games that could make DayZ brilliant.

Everyone is hiding...I personally learned to stay in big towns only for few minutes and then run away like mad. Believe it or not most people don't have that PvP mentality that some of you have.

H1Z1 is a SOE game... and they haven't done a single top seller game yet.. so..i won't have my hopes up if i was you. I'm more worry about the Companies that aren't saying anything and working quietly in the background.. just watch out for State of Decay multiplayer, Microsoft Games have already show some interest in that possibly..and that is a company that is dangerous.

Helicopters, tanks, planes and bull shit like that in general will kill DayZ.. I'm not even happy with cars and trucks, as for is hard to imagine how it will possible to maintain them in an Apocalyptic world... Horses, push bikes, bikes, things like that will be more logical.

I think the Mosin, it feels right in DayZ.. somehow M4's and Ak's just doesn't feels right, as for most "military" grade weapons. I will like to see more Hunting rifles and civilian weapons in my opinion.

Do i think DayZ will be better off as a Sandbox survival mmo ? Hell yeah ! But..people with that vision are giving up.. the game is heading in the direction of a PvP sandbox... :( I actually having fun building worlds for my kids in Disney infinity right now...and.. worrisomely i enjoying that.. getting addicted to it.. :blush:

I don't think cars and boats is an "end game" for a game like DayZ.. Should be something more in the lines of becoming the "Governor" of a community of survivors ... or building a safe heaven for people, maybe even finding a cure for the infection. But a car ?.. no,no,no.. that won't work.

Yeah, it feels like they focusing to much in the re-playability value at the moment.. but not so much in the actual "playability" of the game. The game needs things to aim for, and an end game... and don't give the "sandbox" thing, even the most popular sandbox games have and end game, a plenty of things to do and to try to achieve.

- A survival game with Infected people ? - A shooter game with few Zombies ? - A combat Simulator with infected people ? - A survival simulator without Zombies ? - A playground simulator with toys ? - A shooting simulator with axes ? - An Aim-map to improve your aim for other games ? - A mass-murder dating simulator ? - A respawn Simulator ? No... seriously, what is it ?

8GB will help you with the Mod i guess, 64bit won't make that much difference since the Mod only runs at 32bit. But is the CPU what may be a problem for you, 2.00Ghz is a bit low this days... and the graphic card isn't that good neither.

Grass ? use a tree or a bush, a wall, a hole in the ground.....in real life a soldier will never prone in an open field hoping that the grass will hide them. And if realism doesn't do it for you...no CPU is powerful enough to run a map like DayZ with grass everywhere all the time.

Which I always felt was just slightly too large at that range any ways. Actually, the first picture is accurate... except that you should see little holes and not one big dot.

The CoD kiddies are everywhere.. i just don't understand why they don't just play CoD instead of pissing in everyone else gardens. They play CoD for few weeks, they get bore with it, and then they try to make other games like CoD... fail logic.

Is LOTS of spawn locations now.. some inland in the middle of nowhere, others near towns, the ones by the coast still there...but they are random and like i said... LOTS. I spawned yesterday in the middle of a forest, next spawn near a town, another one in the coast, another one in a countryside road... and is always different each time.

It depends where you spawn..i been killing myself to check the spawn mechanics, sometimes you spawn in an area where is almost to easy to survive... but other times... damn... The new Spawn mechanics makes you think twice about dying.

I hope they keep it this way, i died few times in the Experimental the other day, but it feels more "realistic". Lots of junk around, and you have to work hard to find good stuff..just how it should be.. survival ins't easy.

It makes sense to me, you don't see many games that have a "hardcore" difficulty that only changes the camera view.
