Actually, it does...but not so much this days, SSD's are fast enough now. But years ago a slow SSD's was very noticeable in game performance.

In most games you are nasty because you character is nasty... you pretend that you are that person, even if you not... in DayZ YOU choose to be a prick.. YOU personally...you don't pretending to be a different person... you being yourself. So... yeah... anyone that acts like an asshole in DayZ, is probably also an asshole in real life. -
I have a PS3, Xbox360, Xbox, PS2, PS1, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast... and other crap... i won't exactly call myself a "PC Master Race".. more like...Master Gamer Race ?...

Could also be the server...i was experiencing small freezes the other day just before a server restarted, they were more like 1 second ones but regular... and since that only happen in that specific server, i have to assume that was either the server, or my connection. Run a full anti-virus and malware scan, if that started to happen only 3 days ago you may have some crap in you computer interfering with your connection.

Of course not everyone is a prick....the problem is that one "prick" is more damaging than 100 glitches and bugs. -
You can do both thought... use the sun to make sure that you heading west or east...AND use power lines and phone lines to move around more easily... that is what i do anyway....

Most of them will take you to a big town... except the ones going North, because isn't anything there yet :rolleyes: ...Also, phone lines will take you to small towns.

Is also lots of times in The Walking Dead where people helps each other, even if it means dying themselves...in fact... the full series is about a "group" of people trying to survive without losing their humanity.

If you want to be mad find a mental hospital. But seriously... every time you KoS someone.. you stopping that person from playing the game they way they want to...so by YOU having fun, you stopping other people from having fun. So KoSing fundamentally stops people from playing the game the way they want to... and force them to play the game in a way that they DON'T want to.

I will guess the balancing will involve longer anger / thirst circles, but considerably harder to find food and clean water.. at the moment i think we are in testing mode, everything is accelerated for testing, but the finish game will have a more realistic ratio for Anger Vs Food and resources...

People uses the mic "less" in consoles...just because everyone have a mic doesn't means that everyone "uses" a mic. By personal experience PC gamers are more comfortable using mics than console gamers..simply because console gamers have a more "single player" mentality, and PC gamers have a more "multi-player" mentality. If you think everyone is going to "communicate" more in a console... you are wrong... so wrong...

VAC needs a serious update, i just can't help feeling that hackers knows far to well how to bypass the detection system.. and that is also damaging Steam itself, specially when hackers can hack steam accounts so frequently. -

Well, if other games is anything to go by...DayZ isn't that bad when it comes to people cheating, so you guys are doing something right. I mean, even VAC is having problems coping with the new "cheating fashion", the worst i seen it for years... the only other time it was this bad was in the late 90's. -
Hold on.. is a "humanity" system in the Mod... and you guys are ok with it ? So why is such a big problem in the Standalone ? I know is probably off-topic... but... i just curious about it...

I will be happy with just the 60...that is around the area where games plays optimal. No sure how much i getting right now, but it feels like 30-35.

I find someone shooting me in the back of the head for no reason very disconnecting . the "you are dead" screen with the "respawn" button kills the immersion of the game.. but...what to do...

No.. "cool" is wining a 1 Vs 5 round in CS:GO with only a pistol....This is... stupid.....
