What I don't understand are the changes on the Zeds. Rocket said on reddit that there's no point in balancing the zombies since they are bugged as fuck right now. So why DID they touch their damage/HP model then in the first place last patch. That's contradictory to his own statement. I personally hate the new model. Hits to the head are buggy since I get hit animation on the head and zeds aren't dropping down and the overall glitchiness is annoying. They should've left the zeds as they were before last patch/two patches till the introduce proper pathfinding/playerdetection/respawning. Just my 2 cents. -

It annoys me in specific situations. Playing with a buddy, I choose a server and he can't join the same server for reasons. So we choose another one and I have spawn penalty now. Yesterday I had 600 seconds.

I prefer regular because I enjoy looking at my charakter. He is so pretty. I'm playing Skyrim and Fallout in 3rd person, too.

Accelerated time is working pretty good as far as I can judge, and it's super fast right now on experimental, 6 hours in 5-10 minutes. Edit: How does one throw things? OK found it: 1. Put things in hands 2. Rais your hands with "space" 3. Hold and release "G" to throw Awesome!

Yes I'm bored right now but it's ok for me. I check steam/the forum daily and as soon as the new patch arrives I will playing again to test all the new stuff.

Funny, I didn't found anything in those tents with wooden floor/ grass floor but in that green barracks style buildings.

There are now more loot spawns on stable, but not as much as in experimental. On stable, cars and some former empty buildings are spawning loot now, checked it few minutes ago.

Not only cars and tents, many houses, sheds etc. are spawning loot now.

I'm playing a black charakter and got chopped to death by two russians cause my char was black. :(

My mate and me got killed by a rock formation just outside kamyshovo. Somehow we glitched half inside the rock after walking near to them. Then we we got flinged into the air and died on impact. Don't go there. It's the first rock formation on the south of kamyshovo. Dean mentionend in his rezzed presentation stream yesterday that they're going to implement the steam workshop and make the game modable. This will add a variety of possibilities to change the zeds through different kinds of mods. I'm really looking forward to all the things they will implement as soon as the basic physics/server/engine architecture is implemented and stable.

The idea in DayZ is that the Zeds are supposed to be infected people like in 28 Days/Weeks later, not that undead kind like in the walking dead. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Quick feedback on experimental: -Head torchlights are working for me -Zombies are super agile, pathfinding feels improved. I like it. -Heavy rubberbanding, although the delay/desync with actions/commands is way more better for me Edit: Desync is still there, started out of nowhere.

I'm having following issues: -Session lost after various amounts of time. -Have to restart DayZ after that, because getting immediatly kicked when joining again for "Client not responding". And I'm not the only one. When I'm on a server there are constantly server side messages for people getting kicked for "Client not responding". I haven't had these issues on experimental this morning. -Random zombie/eating/drinking/reloading noices -Heavy desync after joining, gets better after 1 minute Edit: But overall performance like FPS ist better.

I have issues with commands like drawing weapons, vaulting, opening doors and such. Sometimes it is just a delay between command and action, but sometimes my command simply has no effect, like I'm not hitting any button. Are these desync issues or do I have other problems. Playing on experimental btw. -
Fresh spawn on low pop server near electro. Went straigt to he powerplant and looked around. Climbed on the roof on the firestation. Only had an fireaxe. Suddenly I see three people running around the firestation. Say "Hello, I'm friendly". One of the three is looking at me, suddenly starts shooting, but misses. Ok, here we go. One of the three thought it was a good to climb on the roof to me. No it wasn't. Chopped him down. About one minute later, the second guy climbs up the ladder, just to get his head chopped by my axe. I mean, what where they thinking? The third guys was a bit smarter. Since he saw I head no firearm, he climb on that little roof on the powerplant to shoot me from there. Bad for him I looted the Magnum from one of his mates. I wasn't shooting him right away, waited to see what he's gonna do. He shot at me, hit me, but not killed me, I killed him with the Magnum. At this point I was low on blood, bandaged me and wanted to climb down. As soon as my foot touched the ground, I died. End of story: 3 well geard guys dead, one fresh spawn with an axe dead. tl;dr: Tyrone kept it real.
