Not really. In software development there are branches. What we can see here are the stable branch and the experimental branch. Those are accessible in the early access alpha. You can bet that internally BI has some more branches for all the development departments like AI, animations and so on. When those branches are complete or thought to be complete, they are merged to the experimental branch for mass testing and interoperation. If that works, the experimental branch is merged to the mainline or the stable branch. Depends on how they are called by BI. We can only see, what BI wants us to see, but there is much more and programing is much more than Hypercard made us think. Beta on the other hand is known as feature complete but bugged. Sometimes you have to test patches, which you call "unfinished", to see, how they behave in the whole. Even if your life doesn't resolve around the forum, you should still have caught some things.

I'd go for SA. And I wouldn't just go for it to bridge the time until H1Z1 comes out. Sony is like my countries government. They talk and pledge like shit, but at the end many are disappointed. I started with SA, but decided to try the mod too. Both are fun. But if you prefer H1Z1 just for the promised features, you should save your money.

8 usable? I do not understand. 15 FPS in cities is okay for now. That is average for most people. Intel CPUs perform better than AMD. Even my 8 core AMD does not perform better than your 4 core phenom.
