It's sad that most people think "german=bad". :( So far I have met many friendlies. Dutch, dansk, hungarian. One should not have stereotypes against other nations, especially in games. That is a whole different world. A**holes are everywhere.

It is about the misusage of the word "sniping", "sniper" or whatever. 1 vs 7 is good, but do we need to see them in their underwear?

The world record is at over 2500 meters for 2 targets within less than 5 seconds. Everything below 1250 is good, but not impressive, especially in a game. I also don't understand why everyone thinks sniping is only long range shooting. With modern weapons, the right equipment and some knowledge, every noob can hit a target over 500 meters away. But try to do that with multiple targets after your first shot. Then we are talking about sniping.

The 60 bullets stack has been a bug and filling an ammo box with it has been an exploit. That has been addressed and fixed. I agree with you, that you should be able to fill the ammo box with whatever ammo you want to a fixed amount or while 9 mm bullets are smaller than 7.62 mm a weight system should be used. Say the ammo box has a capacity of 600 ammo points, a 9 mm bullet has 0.5, 7.62 has 1 and 5.56 has 0.8 points. On the other hand I think that the approach the devs take is the fairest and probably the least complicated. Yet we should not forget that they are testing and we are volunteer tester. No, it's more like we forced them to let us test it. -
Next time blow that thing up yourself for instant hilarity or just run away. Even with a Mosin you need at least 3 shots to blow up a gas station.

I think the parameter "skipintro" also gives a blank screen, but with controls. Mine is pink then.

Press vest exists in 0.49. Got one after the great wipe, but a rush did go wrong. Found it in the train station in Berezino. Pristine of course.

His question is valid. We all bought the game via steam. If you try to buy the game via its website, there are two versions. The first is the normal one which gives early access. I think we all have this one. The other is the supporter version and what's confusing about this version is the statement, that it gives access to the final product. I see now, that they removed the passage. But in the end, who cares?

That sounds much like a client and server character position mismatch. Your client draws your character in the shack, whereas the server calculates item and hit placement from its last known position. That would be another kind of desync, where your character fortunately hasn't been reset to the server position. That is most likely the case why many die spontaneously. In your case it produced that annoying bug. -

First I was like neutral, but then some people told me to kill or get killed. Not to mention that I died in the process. Now I shoot first, then I ask for their name. An empty grave stone is sad in my opinion.

Press vest. I know from my own experience that it doesn't more protection than any other vest, but I like it and mine were always pristine until I died or got wiped. Still need a new one.

For criticism this thread lacks some arguments. The only argument you gave us for the removal of Balota tent city being bad, is you being lazy to walk some more kilometers. It was easy to gear up and in my opinion, it is still.

No. There is no reliable scale to determine the fps in DayZ. Even monstrous specs are not a guarantee for high or stable fps.

I played experimental a few times and I always died from starvation. My feet hurt, many zombies took a liking on me, but I always died from starvation. Although I found some food here and there, it was never enough.

That is really suspicious. Why did he crop the image first of all? If it was the Arma 3 import, then he didn't need to crop away whatever that thing is at the top.
