Maybe I do not know about, but maybe I do. Who knows. People who really want to game with gorgeous graphics and high FPS buy a PC. Your MacBook has an i7. Good choice. That is a fairly good cpu. It should also beat my FX. But to get back to the topic, the most people buy the entry level machines and considering that you cannot upgrade them and given the price, they do not exchange the machines often. And why should they. I think they build very good machines for work, hobby and commonplace things. But they are mostly not suited for extensive gaming on a long term. That is my opinion and you have yours. If you are satisfied with the results of your MacBook, then I am happy for you. I doubt that there will be a Mac-Version. Installing Windows on your Mac is very easy, but developing a version for OSX is not. This is more than just firing up a compiler and feed him the source code. But I expect you know that.

Considering that for the most Mac Users an iMac is a Mac, because no one can really afford the money for a decent Mac Pro, and they always are outdated when it comes to graphics power, I do not want to see all those forum posts about how sluggish the game runs on their glorious Macs. One has to be fair, an iMac is a computer that fits perfectly in the living room, but it is not suited for games requiring much processing and graphic power. On my work I have a late 2011 Core i5 iMac with 12 GB and Radeon HD 6750M and it sucks on all levels.

There seem to be many developers here. In a game as complex as DayZ, there have to be considered many things and sometimes if you fix one thing, another breaks. That happens. It is bad, yeah. But that is also, why the game needs to be tested. We all volunteered to do so. We should be constructive and report errors. I can understand, that some people are disappointed when they die due to a glitch, considering they needed so much time to gear up. I cannot understand that many people are angry about the fact that they paid for an incomplete product. You knew better before purchasing. Yet the server-structure has to be maintained and that costs. It would cost much less if there were only a few tester. It is true that many whined and wanted early access. I also expected much from what I read and heard, but I knew that it was still in development. What I am looking for, is a more constructive discussion about errors, glitches and wanted features, not this kindergarden thing here.

I suppose you tried it on different servers. Not just your favorite server(s). Then it is mysterious. But after I read your story, I hope everytime when I log in, that all my gear is on its place.

Think positive. In real live you would not even respawn. And what happened to you is the challenging factor of the game. That is the fun. It could happen to everyone every time. :)

Are black spray cans rare in hardcore? I thought it is just 1PP. I just painted my firefighter axe black.

About my gear? I can call my own a camo Mosin with all attachments. The Mosin and the LRS scope are pristine, the bipod and bayonette are worn. The compensator is damaged. Never found a better one. While the ammo is slightly rare, I often use a second primary. So if you see an idiot shooting his way through a horde of infected, it could be me. :) In clothes, I take a route between military and civil. When I can, I will post some screenshots.
