If duping causes a character reset the next time the duper logs on, that's good. Bad for all the accidental dupes. Now we wait for all the whine-threads "help, my character was reset!!!!!".

Friendly zombies? Sounds like Twilight. I hope that there is never such a feature as to disable zombies or lowering their aggressiveness. -

If it was experimental or not should be quite clear. To be able to join an experimental server, you first have to join the beta program in Steam before starting DayZ. Also Steam pulls an update n that case. So far I have only seen Zeds climbing stairs on experimental. Never on stable. They just walked into the stairs, out of sight. -
And when all have the same speed, you give someone a bullet to the legs. Hypothetically spoken.

Still, if there is no remarkable difference between hunters and hunted, then there will be blood. Also, once the hunted gets what is up, he will probably flee and log out. But I am kind of interested in such a set up.

I suggest all hunter wear yellow or orange rain coats. The hunted is free to wear anything but those rain coats. So at least the hunters cannot take another hunter for the hunted and the hunted has a slight advantage.

No, they gave us early access to a project with alpha status. It is not a game yet, although it is playable. At this moment we are merely beta tester than gamer. I am aware of this fact and if I can contribute any help to speed up development, I will do so. But all I can do, is giving usage data, if there is any collected, and watch for bugs. I do not have any knowledge about the code, the engine and any mechanic that controls the KI in use, like most, if not all, of the users in this forum.

Where the hell did you find a pristine compensator? Thats the only part I could never find above worn. Other than that, class before mass.

Because I like zombie, survival and horror games. I have many games of this kind, but I prefer the zombie themed type.

When die SOE announce all these killer features? Did I miss something. For the time being, I play SoD: Lifeline. It is more arcade, but it works most of the time. Unfortunately it is not multiplayer. -
How many folks went back to playing the Mod until SA goes to Beta?

I did not revisit the mod after playing SA. I tried the mod cause of the SA and many people telling the mod being better than SA. I cannot agree in all aspects. Graphically seen SA is better, far better. The game mechanics also speak for SA. When talking about content, the mod clearly wins. I like both and tend to play both. -
In a complete weather system there should be fog as well as rain, thunder, wind and storms. Snow would be a little hard, but I would gladly welcome blizzards if they were possible. Morning fog would be beautiful. But fog of war just to get a better and faster rendering is imho ugly. There should also be days when you can see far. Even if that means a f-word-ing sniper can shoot you from more than 1000m distance.

Shorter version: I played games advertised as RTM but they were utter crap. At least I knew before buying, that DayZ is still not complete.

It's not about the kill. It is how you killed him and were boasting yourself. This is an execution. Of course I would not hesitate to kill/shoot another player if I were in the described situation, but there is no proof here. In three years we can talk again about it.

Due to server lag I often have the problem that the gun is drawn and then immediately put back, but never when my weapon was drawn for a long time. It is suspicious that it happened when the OP made contact with the other "player". Yet it not only happened to him, but also short before to his friend. I can only guess what happened but I won't get into detail.

While the game is about "kill or being killed", the forums are not a place to vaunt about killing others just for fun. We should forgive the OP for his behaviour as he is a kid and does not know better.

If you moved west from there, it should be the train station north of Lopatino. There are also garages, a construction site and a buero complex. Also, if you follow the tracks until the end, you will find a mass graveyard.
