You mean taking multiple rifle rounds to a press vest and surviving with barely any injury is completely I would say taking multiple rifle rounds to a press vest with little injury is not the intended functionality. Then again you weren't even trying to do a test, so maybe none of it actually happened like you think it did. To say WoBo is faking his vid's you should at least have evidence beyond anecdotal musings on YouTube. When Hick's refers to his 'bone stat' video results as being 'WIP/taken out of context' that basically means it could be what is happening, even if the reasoning if flawed or its not intended functionality. Probably not far off when you see things like Mosin's breaking with low round counts simply because WIP.

Wolves, nope, though I have always had gun and ammo when I do encounter them. Hypothermia, 2-3? but as a fresh spawn in a storm when the patch first dropped. Rain seems to be rare now. Never been zombie instakilled or killed by a zombie in recent memory. Glitch fall a few times, but very rare nowadays. Once you have acquired a stone knife and a stick, there is little reason to die from zombies or the elements(you practically spawn with them too). Usually find enough cloth for a bow or a bag in 10-20 houses.

From the most recent 39 reviews(first page): Negative review play time average 205hrs. Positive review play time average 176hrs. The highest play time review was 866 hrs, his 'positive' review of the game read 'pretty dank'. Surprisingly half of the positive reviews did not review the game and basically had gibberish. Removing the obviously troll 866hr review, the average positive review time played drops to 113hrs. The average 'hater' has more play time and many of them have 3-600hrs. They are not trolls, they are people who have invested time and money into this game. The idea that you think their opinion is worth nothing and their negative review should be hidden is sad. Sticking to a game you don't like for more than a few hours is unusual in the first place. Putting 500hrs into it and still slapping a negative review on it should not be ignored.

Weird? You're the one that thought food needed to be part of this thread. What is with people defending bugged out mechanics as features and decrying those that want them fixed as people who shouldn't play this game?
-
So DayZ would cease to be survival game without an abundance of weapon cleaning?
-
Its a useless mechanic in the first place, guns don't just fall apart on you like they do in this game.
-
He changes to subsonic ammo when he puts the bottle on, its a useless comparison.
-
Its actually not hard to add a side rail to the AK type rifle, a hand drill and some bolts or rivets will do the job. The unrealistic part is finding an AK side rail not already attached to a gun.

If it doesn't hold more than normal storage, its just wasted server resources. Generally you can store more things in a container if you carefully arrange them vs just dumping stuff in. Using the med bag can been as a stand-in for intelligent packaging, as far as realism goes.

It would be nice if a splint let you move faster, but not full speed. Leave it on for 30m to an hour to fully heal a fracture. Then have morphine + splint let you move at full speed, or morphine only to let you move for some time, but not heal the fracture.

Why does 'feeling the pulse' reveal the name?

I'm not sure there is going to be a need for things like ID's, wallets, or credit cards during the zombie apocalypse. :P -
http://youtu.be/mgunKuJ1Kiw?list=UUEaZAoRquVbDm7-8u1qastw Things are not as simple as they seem in DayZ, this guy does a pretty good job of figuring out the nuances of how DayZ works.

No "Specialized" Cartridges [Torchia Tweet]

Later in the game, when things like weight matter, hunting rifles could become more useful. Do you go for the tactical/sniper rifle with a longer heavy barrel/stock, or the lighter hunting rifle? The tac rifle could have a little more power/range/accuracy, but be hard to find ammo. Where as the .30-06 hunting rifle could be pretty common, but wont accept 'tactical' attachments, at least not with modification. Also, they could be treated like clothing, lots of similar rifles with sometimes nothing but cosmetic difference. -
What lab are you sending the blood bag to for disease testing?
-
That is not a new bug, and is fixable by dropping the item and picking it back up.
