    Hey peeps! Everything turned out fine in the end. I was creating a new character, set the name to Speaker, logged in and "poof" all my gear and my original character was there. My keys had to be set and the graphics tweeked. My favorite servers were not recorded unfortunately. All in all, things went better than i initially feared. Thanks again for all your responses, we've made progress in the land of DayZ!

    Thanks for the swift replies! I really hope they add that soon. I guess i'll have to serve as cannon fodder until i get back home <_< Thanks a lot!

    Hey everybody! I have an issue here. Back at my place, I play standalone on my rig with steam, all normal. I'm away from home visiting the family at the moment and i installed DayZ SA with my steam account on my mothers' computer. My character is not there when i start the game, and my mother's name was on the loading screen... wtf? she doesn't play DayZ and i'm connected to MY steam account :lol: Anybody have any idea what to do? I thought that my profile was basically attached to my steam account but it turns out not. How do i get my character with my gear on this pc? Thanks for your answers! :)
