    Current build, Berezino is the number one best place to spawn. If I get a spawn there I am usually kitted up within 45 minutes depending on how long the server has been up Elektro is a horrible spawn. You can have luck there but 9/10 times it is horrible. Umm no thanks. If the server drops to less than 25 people I don't want to be on it. I server hop for one thing and one thing only, for high pop servers. In a 6 hour session I probably have to change servers anywhere from 2-4 times depending on time of night. I liked the mod where every server was separate.

    No a suggestion is just that, a suggestion. Even if my "suggestion" had any weight whatsoever and the dev's listened to me, it is still just a suggestion. The dev's are only ones who can force anyone into a particular style/mode. Good I am glad the community is vocal whether for or against my ideas, that means it is alive and well. It is not my community it is ours... everyone's and everyone has a right to a say. Noobie or experienced anyone who has paid for the game has a right to a say. But anyway I think I have made my point, see you all on the airfield ;)

    I can not and will not force people into anything. Please quote me where I said .. I just said "I haven't seen a valid excuse", pretty simple mate. No one has to provide me with no one has to do anything with what I say or post. Some people get their knickers in a twist because they fear change but I can't help that. Once two people have made their points it is usually detrimental to go backwards and forwards over the same points, that is why. Using words like "vocal minority hijacking" just makes your argument look weak and whiny. You don't need to do that to make a point, just argue the facts. Please enlighten me about this as I am new to the forums and don't know of what you are talking about.

    Yes, it happens all the time in "game development" actually it is very rare to have much import as an end user into the development in any game... Hence my post ;) and who did I ask to justify their preference? I stated my thoughts on it as you do in forums and that is it, no more, no less. People can chose to either read and reply, read and ignore or just totally ignore my post. I won't lose sleep over any of those outcomes. Now in the respect for the other members if you would like to discuss this further in PM, I am more than happy to do it but don't think us going backwards and forwards will do the thread any favours.

    Precisely :thumbsup: In saying that, I think if it was the only mode, people would come to love it. It is only because we have DayCare mode that people then become to rely on the advantage and in turn want it to stay. There is no valid excuse to DayCare apart from, "it's just too hard". I am not intentionally being insulting to people that play 3PP, I just have never heard a reply that has made me think differently even after reading this entire thread.

    Quite simply put... not enough people play hardcore unfortunately. I don't like playing in servers that are half full.

    I think you need to think that through a little more mate. ;) If you are standing at a wall, you can clearly see over it. However the poor bugger running towards it can not see you at all. You can clearly see what end he runs too and and flank from the opposite end etc. A clear advantage. I run in first person mode no matter what server I am in but I have to account for the wall advantage perspective as part of my game play. I wish there was only first person servers and really can't understand why someone would want to ruin the immersion of the game. Some people must just rely on it to get by I suppose.
  10. I will answer your question good sir, below... Do you have a different game plan now? - Slightly, not a lot has changed though. Get away from the coast immediately, find first small town with no doors open and observe for a bit. Then proceed to run through town and get as many zom's chasing me as possible. Lead them to forest or field area and lose them. Circle back round to town and loot freely. Do you "just go for it and run around as a single player or do you play the more stealthy approach? - I think a balanced approach is required, sometimes running sometimes stealthy but always cautious. Every second you spend out in the open is a potential to be killed. I am not a gambler and would rather kit up the old fashion way as I hate dying over and over again. But that doesn't mean I haven't accomplished knocking out a fully kitted guy and stealing his stuff. Those times are more wrong wrong time situations though. How do you play it in a group when of your members dies and respawns really far away? - We remove his stuff from his body, carry what we can, drop what we can't and depending on other factors, either wait or go meet him if we can. Did you change your approach in how to deal with Zeds? - Slightly, I have to engage them a bit more but only do so when absolutely necessary. Do you rely more or less on melee weapons / guns? - For Zeds? Melee only. We ruined 3 guys nights last night just because they were using weapons to kill zoms. If you absolutely have to do it, then leave the area immediately or at least hide for a bit What's your experiences / stories since the latest patch? - Really enjoying the new patch but will love it more when their are heaps of zom's and not just a few that respawn to simulate a lot. It makes it impossible to clear an area but I completely understand why this was done at this stage in the build.
