Lol, the only one getting defensive and cry babyish is you. Everyone else is having a rational conversation but you start calling people names. That is fine you want to play like that as said this isn't about 1PP vs 3PP this is more about becoming a better player and I believe that if people are struggling with playing 3PP to give up the luxury, bear through the initial pain and give it a go as you could be quite surprised and it's not even because 1PP is superior but because of it what it does INTERNALLY, to YOUR OWN MENTALITY OF HOW YOU HANDLE THE GAME. So get off your high horse and contribute maturely or piss off. No one wants another thread ruin by some defensive twat, except said twat. -
You can build one for less than $30 AUD and it sounds like you didn't calibrate it properly. You can make it so you turn your head less than 15 degrees and you are looking over shoulder.

Totally agreed especially at that range. I put 4 bullets into a dude yesterday only to have him turn around and shoot me once with his sks and he broke my legs. I killed him but still ridiculous. I had the advantage, I shot him first and if his shot was better I could have been knocked unconco or even worse killed all in the name of balance, that's not balance that's BS. God I cringe too. -
I love my track IR, I won't play without it.

Exactly, I have no problem with the bow killing in one shot, I don't think it should but I wouldn't care if it did. However the question has to be asked why the hell does it take so many 5.56 rounds to kill. I don't want to hear BS things like "balance", this is not CoD. If you want balance then make the other weapons do more damage. The person who shoots and hits first should win 99% of the time. This 360 no scope CoD rubbish only ruins the experience. I am not trying to start 1PP vs 3PP battle there are plenty of those but more of introspective look at your playing style. Do you think you are more reckless when you play 3PP? I know I certainly was. Do you think the play style is different between the two? I find people on HC are lot more cautious on 1PP than 3PP brothers What I find funnier is that people on HC are lot more friendlier as well. -
I wish we were forced to interact with others to survive...

Many many different reasons but in this particular case I would say because dying is preferred over being humiliated. Most people who carry around handcuffs are going to take a great deal of pleasure in "playing" with you while handcuffed. I would rather not partake in their gratification. Poor judgement of whom? You or him? I think he knew his odds and played the cards he was dealt, would I play them that way? Certainly not, you would have had to come in there and get me and I know I would kill at least one of you. Can't answer that unless we know what your true intention was. It sounds to me you wanted a power trip (nothing wrong with that). You clearly had all the gear you wanted, so why take him prisoner at all? If that is the case then you did something wrong as you failed in that task. I would suggest if that is what you wanted then taking the softly softly approach works far better. Tell him to holster his weapon instead of dropping it, pretending it is just you alone etc etc. You already have him on edge just by knowing where he is and him not knowing anything about you but a voice in the cold. As above, think like you are negotiator for the police or a hero wanting to help but being cautious at the same time but again hard to answer without knowing what your end goal was. Twas a good story. -
No cause you failed to kill them. When they log out, you have 30 seconds, should it be longer yes but you were within 50 metres of them, they should have all died. It really doesn't matter how many servers they have hopped before, in fact the more the better. That means you just wasted even more of their time and now they have to do it all over again. Now when do we start discussing wall glitching and 3PP lol.

This isn't end game, frustrating yes but it will be fixed. While there is no respawning of loot of course there is going to be server hoppers. As it currently stands, first person into a freshly restarted server gets pick of the gear. Tell me how is that fair? If I finish work and get home only to find that all populated servers were restarted 3 hours ago my chances of gearing up become extremely slim while you can be damn sure there are plenty of kitted up players on the server, my chances of survival are even slimmer. It leaves very little choice. The issue I saw from your perspective was people logging "IN" the airfield buildings and the only way to teach them a lesson not do that, is by killing them. EDIT: I wish that they make it impossible to log in and out in high populated PvP areas but I doubt that will happen.

Ok first things first, adjust your mouse sensitivity you have it to high. You keep over shooting your desired location. Secondly you had more than enough opportunity to kill all three of those guys. And thirdly, you complain about ruining immersion and yet use 3PP and wall glitching? LOL!

But one of my favourite things to do is kill hikers and campers. I love seeing their brightly coloured mountain backpacks flash across my screen. I don't want any of their gear cause I know that all they have is neatly stacked wood, cooking burners and pots. But just when they think it is safe to pick up that newly found gas canister.... BANG!

Get food to bright green first followed by drink and then you should get a healing status. Keep eating till you are stuffed or you get the healthy status. It is a little bit glitched at the moment but only sometimes. It won't display healthy status in your inventory and then you get hit by a zom and a minute later it appears.

When the game is released, I think the spawns should be all over the entire map and literally 100's of different points. So many points that it would be pointless to suicide because it would be almost impossible to get the spawn you wanted. This also in turn would see you coming across people in all areas of the map and it would also dilute the high PvP areas. I don't want to think, "ok better be on guard now as I am entering Elektro", I want to be thinking that EVERYWHERE. Nowhere should be safe, I don't want to feel safe running through the forest. If people were spawning everywhere I think it would also increase the chance of running into people in the woods. I have over 400hrs in SA and in that time I have run into a total of ONE player who was in the wilderness. Everyone spawns in the same spot = One extremely high PvP area East Coast spawns = Berezino and NEAF become a high PvP area rest of map hardly touched East and south coastspawns = Elektro/Balotta becomes a high PvP area and Kamenka spawn would be the best spawn ever so people would suicide until they got that. North end (especially east) becomes boring again. Spawns all over the map = Nowhere is safe, one area may still become high PvP but least likely to cause this. Spawns in centre of map = Not a bad idea either but would probably create a high PvP at the NWAF. In saying that if there was to be a high PvP it really should be NWAF Well that is my 2 cents anayway

I like the idea of a blood trial as long as it is not over done. It would need to be subtle and for you to have a keen eye. Also on the whole tracking idea it would be cool, if there was some sort of tracking mechanic where you could tell (if you had a keen eye) where someone had RAN (not walked) recently.

There is no problem with zombies at all, they are still very easy. There IS a problem with desync and lag so you get hit from invisible zom's or zom's 30 metres away and there is a problem with zom's respawning agro'ed on you but this is just plaace holder and will be adjusted as time goes on. I see so many threads saying zom's are too hard and I am not sure what your technique is but if you are dying from them, then it is obviously wrong and you should change it.
