Mouth-to-Mouth resuscitation, and diseases.
artrath96 replied to cheeseburger8's topic in Suggestions
I don't know the truth of this, and someone could look it up, but I have heard that the chest compressions are the important part of CPR, because it keeps the heart beating. However, I don't know if it's fact or fiction though. Mouth to mouth resuscitation is CPR isn't it? -
possible back old aim shooting?, without aim shaking

Have you read anything about the new "Enfusion" engine coming out? http://www.dayztv.com/news/2014/06/dayz-e3-2014-moving-new-engine-called-enfusion/ www.youtube.com/watch?v=Njaysrs2fx0 -
[Help] Loosing my gear all the time!

I vote we sticky Riddler's response. -
Actually, it isn't. The focus is on making a zombie survival game, with zombies becoming much more of a focus and threat once the new engine is complete.

Strap 2 main weapons on your backback with rope
artrath96 replied to Replifice's topic in Suggestions
What? No, why? Realistically, how many human beings run around in a dangerous situation, like the DayZ apocalypse, with two long rifles/assault rifles/ carbines/etc.? Since the closest real life examples we can use is soldiers in combat, or hunters in the wild, let's ask a few of them what it would be like running around with two weapons. I am willing to guess that most of them would say it's laughable to carry two large weapons on your back, because you'd constantly have to readjust them both to prevent them from falling off. They'd get tangled together, plus they could end up knocking together, making noise you can't afford. If you can show me proof it happens, I will give you my beans. This is a much more intelligent, rational way of saying the idea I'm in favor off. -
Okay... So... Did you really want us to respond helpfully, or did you want to just rant at anyone who made a comment?... Anyway... I come bearing glad tidings of great joy and a map to ease your suffering. http://www.dayztv.com/standalone/dayz-chernarus-plus-map/ Find yourself a compass. Familiarize yourself with place names. Next, find a landmark, check which direction will take you wear you want to go, point your compass that way and push "W" Works for the rest of us.

And server, I do believe. Unless I haven't stumbled in to the correct area, the couple of hardcore servers I've played on haven't had this issue. At least, not for me anyway <_<

This is mainly what I want to touch on. Chernarus isn't in Russia, or so I've heard/read in many places. Most likely near it. However, I can't see any reason why the Chernarussian government didn't decide to use the AUG. I have no idea its country of origin however, so that may be like the most ridiculous statement ever lol. However, the devs, and all devs in all games for that matter, have to bend reality somewhat to make things work. Taking creative liberties with the ammunition and rates of fire seem to be some of those. Perhaps its a simplicity factor? I don't really know. I don't mind the realism factor, I just don't want to take time away from anything else to redesign mosin ammo, fix rates of fire, etc. until later on, maybe beta. That being said, I also know nothing of video game development, in any of its multiple facets, so maybe it is a simple fix.

False. The guys over at Rooster Teeth donated over $400k to the Extra-Life Charity, and they do game streams and videos, among other things. That being said, I can respect your opinion. I watch streams rarely. I don't enjoy streams much, but I do enjoy youtube videos. However, to each their own my friend.

True this. But cool, nonetheless. Much better than I could do lol. I can't hit the broadside of a barn from 10m with an AK.

Go to the NWAF. There KOS is acceptable, according to most. Try mid pop servers, since most people avoid the NWAF on high pop servers, out of fear of dying. PvP can be an enjoyable experience, but with 1k hours under my belt since launch, I will admit my favorite memories are working with good people and having fun. Most of my favorite memories in the game don't include firing a gun. So, while PvP can be fun and intense, don't forget the other side of the game as well. The last thing people need is another CoD kid. Don't be that CoD kid.

Gonna interrupt the flow of the topic for a second, I'm sorry! Kinda... Anyway, has anyone else noticed the trees that used to give ashwood sticks no longer drop them? I chopped down enough to where my pristine splitting axe went to badly damaged, over 10 I believe. I have everything I need for a fishing rod, except the stick. Can anyone confirm this? The trees are the big, round ones with multiple "trunks" right?

I haven't noticed a raindrop pattern, I just feel like it's a glitch with some of the tree models, cause I've noticed as well.

Zombies now run through the ground and have no attack limit?
artrath96 replied to BoBoSlap's topic in New Player Discussion
If you are seriously desyncing/lagging, you aren't really where your game is showing you that you are. I've run from zombies and been killed like this, and then the game says "No message received" and I come find my body where I first encountered the zombie.
