"Rewarded" And the increase in price is because the game is technically not "Worth" what a full game will be. That being said, 30 bucks is not a bad price for the ammount of gameplay available in DayZ. However, some achivements would be nice.

A lot more complaining. They finally nerfed the NE airfeild. Hunting, fishing. A slight change to the zombies. Some misc wildlife A few new guns that mostly blow. A large pack of 12-15 year old players. Probably around 500K to be exact. Oh, and its still alpha.

Why dont you buy a shooting simulation, then? Im sure there are some out there. But there is already like 5 steps to use a gun in dayz right now. Equip the gun Load the ammo Raise your hands Aim down the sights Pull the trigger And you would like to see how many steps added to this? Lol

Heres a fix. Hint: its the one i already said. I was not just refering to the physical noise it makes in game, i was also talking about the code. If people are saying it might be difficult to change the code to make it less loud, it would be crazy easy to make it just non existant. Just delete the lines of sound code when the silencer is attached. And if people dont like the gun with the silencer, they can just take it off. Win Win my friend.

My point exactly. If they focus that hard on any piece the game wont feel balanced. Plus, can you imagne the time it would take to make all the guns have special actions like that? Not to mention the mechanics that would go into the ammo and condition of the gun. There are much bigger fish to fry right now my friend, i wouldnt be expecting this anytime soon.

Complicating an already pretty dam complicated game is not going to work... espically in ALPHA. This is supposed to be a survival simulator, not a sniping simulator.

Isnt the point of post-apoloptic society to kill eachother? There isnt a whole lot else that can kill you right now other than being sick, or starving to death. That is the draw in this game (Right now anyway). The reson i got so addicted to it at first is the adrenaline rush i get in a firefight. Nothing like spending 12 hours looting and coming face to face with someone who has done the same and having no idea how its going to turn out.

Yeah, i actually agree with this. For a while there, when people were leaving and shit, i was loosing hope. It seems they have turned a new page and are making decent progress now. Keep up the good work!

Took me 4 shells to kill a zombie last night. Was wishing i had a 22 about halfway into loading the next snap loader. I just hate the fact that its a placeholder for a different, better, gun.

Wouldnt it make more sense to have the silencer completly take the sound away in the mean time then? Its not like the pistols would be that over powered if they just didnt make sound.

I spawned by it last night. I didnt know the patch went live and spent 3 hours trying to figure out where i was. I think its a good move though, makes you put yourself out in the open more, rather than hiding behind the closed doors and completely gearing up in one sweep of an un looted building.

Good morning fellow Dayz-ians. I am here to talk to you today about the best game i've played this year, DayZ. I first started this game in January, and was hooked for about 3 months. I have around 150 Kills and even more deaths with a combined playtime of 200 hours. I havent played since the start of may. Let me tell you why. Reason 1. People Whining - Everyone and their brother is whining on the forums about what they want to see/what they dont want to see SO FUCKING MUCH that now the Devs use the excuse of "GYES ITS ALPHA, FUKIN DEAL WITH IT". Thank you, whiny dumbshits for ruining our only way to comunicate with the Devs. Reason 2. What is being added in the alpha. - Being that this game is loosly based on the dayz mod for ARMAII why the hell are the smaller aspects being added first? Once again, yes its alpha, but the things that NEED to be worked on right now are vehicles, storage, and the construction of forts and maybe we should talk about the HUGE FUCKING GRAPHICS PROBLEM. Who gives a rats ass about being able to catch a fish, when you have avid users with supercomputers who cannot have a good graphical experience because of your shit job on the environment. Reason 3. The fact that their are 3 million other survival/MMO/Sandbox/Alpha games - Here is the real kicker for me. The Devs of this game just expect people to stay patient and stick around while things are being worked on. Fact is, nobody wants to play a repetitive game where things are the same and new additions are so small, it feels like a normal launched game patch. If this is truly alpha, fix some shit, and make some HUGE addititions. There are great alpha games like Rust, Beasts of Prey and Space Engneers who have an EXCELLENT base for what they are doing. They made sure their graphics were good, and most of the larger additions are prioritised rather than adding small things to keep people quiet. I could piss and moan all day, but i want to make one thing clear. DayZ is still an excellent game, and is going to take a lot more time to finish. I just am loosing faith in it REALLY FAST, along with the other people I play with. The Devs need to make it clear that they are making an effort, and that they want to keep the people who have been putting up with all the glitchyness happy, and to listen to them. "Personal Feelings"? I am pointing out the obvious. Yes, there is still HUGE problems with the graphics. Yes, there is still HUGE problems with the engine the game is built on. Yes, there is still HUGE things missing from the game. Take another look, and really critically think this time, do those look like "feelings" to you?

I am not whining. I laid out the reasons i quit playing a game i had really high hopes for. There was a rhyme and reason for my post, thus, it was not just whining to whine. And adding content is something a game should do late alpha or early beta. You do realize there are still MAJOR bugs with saving charcters, and lets hit on FPS shall we? I understand these things take time, but once again, here comes the "HEY MORON ITS ALPHA" argument. At what point do you think that will not be being raped over and over again as the standard argument against anyone who speaks bad against the game? And I am a true fan, thats why i am posting things that should be posted, and trying to hold the Dev's accountable for getting the game stable.

You want your energized to be dark green, and your hydrated to be dark green. (If you are talking about the standalone). Just eat a bunch of food and pop and drink water. Takes a little bit, but you'll be all good in like 30 minutes.
