This is a great idea. I think it would be awesome to knock someone unconcsious for a short time without having to kill them. However, there would have to be some way to like "Pull dart out" and that might become tricky.

Would be a cool idea, i just assume it would take a lot of resources on the developers side, and on the client side. Maybe they could just do like what Bethesda games do. Make a bunch of custom stuff you can monkey around with.

I would say the best way to learn this game is to jump right in. Its in alpha, so a lot of things are in flux right now. Reading a guide even from a month ago might give you incorrect information.

My point is, either you want it to be realistic, or you don't. I'm just poking at the idea of you wanting the best of both worlds, which doesn't work out.

There is a shit ton of variables in this equation. First off, lets take the SKS or Mosin into account. You get shot center mass, you are fucking dead, no arguing there. You get shot with a .22 (Depending on how far away and how close the gun was) its going to bounce around in your body and rip everything up. Chances are, if you are shot in real life, you pass out from blood loss and shock within minutes. Pretty realistic, right? How about things like the .45. A 45 would blow a hole the size of your fist out the back of your body even if it didnt have self defence / hollow point rounds.

If we are going for realistic, no. You cant do that in real life without cutting yourself open. If we are going for cool game feature, no. I've seen it in too many games. Its cool, but i dont think it would fit in DayZ

Another thing you could try is using a 3rd party software to control your keyboard. Things like the steelseries engine or the Razer engine might make your keyboard less crazy.

If you are looking for safety, i would avoid cities all together. And come to think of it, this game all together lol

Yeah, i would be careful though, make sure that you know you have the right driver before you uninstall the current one.

It all depends on what version of windows you are on, and if you use windows update. If you are on 7X64, and all your drivers are installed, it will usually say they're the best, until update says differently. And your NAGA is showing up as a keyboard because you have a keypad on the side. There should be another NAGA under Mice and other pointing devices.

Honestly, the easiest and cheapest way to do that would be to make a bunch of hyperlinks on the desktop, and have them lead to youtube, nexflix, HBOGO ect. As far as i know, theres not really a desktop app that will do you any good as far as keeping the computer fast, and let you switch between programs. However, i would recommend windows 8 32 bit if you want more of a media center feel. You can pin apps to the start page and stuff.

Re-install your keyboard driver. If your driver is corrupted, you can get some weird errors. Right click computer, manage, device manager, find your usb keyboard device, right click, update driver.

You can adjust your bloom setting. Seemed to tame it quite a bit for me.

Realistically, if you smeared chunks off of a reanimated corpse on yourself, you would probably die of an infection in hours. its a cool idea, and i remember it from the walking dead, but if dayz SA is going for Realism, this wouldnt really be a good plan.

But you will pay a fraction of the price :) and that's why i said if money is no issue go with Intel, but AMD does have the fastest processor in the world right now. As far as optimization goes, that's an open book, but it is the fastest, and a 1/3 of the price of intel's 3.7 GHz "Turbo" one.
