Is this thread real life? Why are we still entertaining this guy?? I'd like to know why the OP thinks is the devs job to monitor the game? They just DEVELOP the game, not tell us what we can and can't do in game. That's up to whoever hosts the servers if it even was escalated to that point. I still think this is a ridiculous topic. A wise man once told me to worry about the shit you can change. I cant change racism, I'm not racist, so I don't worry about it.

I like your approach to this forum CJ. obviously out in the country you wouldn't see much. In the cities however it would be cool to walk through the cities like cherno, electro, berenzino and cars in the street and static bodies. It would give you the holy shit what happened here feeling. Something else that would be cool is a blocked roadway with lots of cars that spawn loot inside them. Similar to the highway exit Atlanta, GA in the first season of walking dead. It would surely be a hot spot for activity. As far are the game goes currently, we don't even really know the date it takes place.

Setting, My man.... settings. If the OP did his reading and knew this is game not in any since optimized and that's... correct me if I'm wrong but it's still in the alpha stage, he would know not to worry about it this as it's doesn't even matter WHAT you setup is the game runs like shit. So again... mess with the in-game settings and find what works for your computer. Thanks. :)

Hey guys. I have a different suggestion that's not about gameplay, zombies or complaining about something. It's about the Hot key UI Now that we can garden I find myself switching to carry the shovel or the axe. While gearing up I tend to dump the lesser hand gun or rifle for the new pristine one I just found. with this I always tend to use the same Hot keys for certain items. 1 is melee/tool, 2 is handgun and 3 is the rifle (if I have a hand gun other it's in 2 slot). The rest are just based on what I have and it's importance/need. Now I know EVERYONE kits out different but what if the type of weapon/tool stay persistent to the hotkey you set it too. for example: I already have a crow bar in my number 3 hot key but I found a fire axe, when drag the crow out of my inventory to drop and I pick up the fire axe and drag it to my inventory, it would override the number 3 hot key and default to it since I already have that type of weapon queued there. Same would go for the hand gun or rifle. If you find a new hand gun and pick it up. If you already have the same type of weapon in your hot keys it would replace that one. Given you drop the current one prior. Currently it just "grays out" when you drop the item, so the queue stays there, you just don't have the item anymore. Thanks for reading this. Ok well I'm glad it's not just me. Seems to be common. I do have a pretty good idea for the hot keys.. gonna post it in the suggestions thread.

I got a decent amount of time today in the game and noticed a few things. If anyone else is experiencing the same things I'd like to know. - shot a deer with a 1911 and could not harvest the meat with my kitchen knife. I had plenty of space in my inventory and it didn't show up on the ground. It happened on two deer I killed. - while scouting using the LRS, I could move up and down. Only have movement on the horizontal axis. This was with looking, not walking. - after loading a single round into my 1911 and later removing it, I couldn't combine it with my other .45 acp. - one thing that gets me everytime is the delayed number keys for you inventory. I hate it and its not smooth. I normally end up bashing my board till it switched. Its not consistent when it does happen to work.

Not to get all sassy, but I am. People/kids want to blame everyone else for THEIR(fps) problems. Look in the mirror and change yourself(your computer)

+1 TBH I was getting worried about the direction DayZ was going post-Dean. When I read the 2015 outlook and saw A LOT of what we were asking for is actually being implemented into the game, I was shocked. You mean to tell me a game is developed around what we, the community are requesting. AMAZING! Then the 0.52 patch to stable... then the late night with the DDOS attack??? It shows the DayZ team is committed to us and to bring us a good product. Thanks!

It seems to me you have to play with the settings to find what your computer is happy with I have an AMD FX-8350 O.C. @ 4.6ghz Geforce GTX 650 O.C. +200mhz I run 60/70 in the woods and small towns and about 30/40 in the bigger cities. My video card is shit but I'm still managing to get good playable frames AND it looks good!
