I agree but you can put a gun in a pocket and it's always a 2x2 item so i think we need to make some compromise with realism in this case ;)

Making such hard model and related animations for a mob that need to be implemented in very few number to have sense it's a waste of time IMO. I will prefer see big pack of zeds roaming around the whole map instead of single dangerous mob.

Yup and at this stage the only effective melee weapons that are used by players (mostly axe and fireaxe) works fine, the others melee weapons are just used for few hours if you are really unlucky so that's not a sort of endgame problem like others i've added in the pool ;) Oh zeds wins by the way but it's interesting that for many people the abuse of server it's the most annoying problem, underrated indeed :o

That happen every time you are too quick (you don't wait for the end of eat process and you start doing something else like eat again) and more often if you interact with object on vicinity tab and use eat/drink command directly from there, the last thing will also often generate a bugged invisible slot. Now i'm taking everything with me before starting eat/drink action and i wait until the animation removes automatically the item. that has completly removed the bug. I've never generated a 0% item in the last 2 weeks ;)

the better way to preserve pills is in their original sealed package, you can put pills in a container if you need to take them daily but in a survival setting where they can easly become dump or ruined by the environment i will store them in a well sealed pack so the actual sistem seems realistic to me. instead i think we need a better container for medical stuffs, i'm thinking about some kind of medical bag, something like the ammo box with 8/10 slots for small items like pills, syringe, injection vials (actually usless), morphine and epi pens cause the actual first aid kit it's really small and if you need to bring the medical stuffs for the party you need load of space My actual setup is: 1st kit: defibrillator + 2 epi pens 2d kit: 3 ready blood bags 0- (or saline if we don't have a 0- player) 3d kit: 2/3 morphine + 3 type of pills: antibiotics, piankillers and charcoal tabs ( it can save some noob life ;)) 4t kit: 4 spot for bandages and 2 free for varius things like blood tests for newcomers if in the future we'll need to bring also injection vials and few syringes will be really hard. IRL i'm working for a medical study so i can say that all such things will certainly not full a backpack ^_^

Those are all important problems but 'cmon guys never worked for priority? :lol: By the way seems the community want to see first of all better Zeds and a solution fo glitch exploit while the Dev are mostly working on desync and new survival stuffs. IMO i suppose they are working to improve the possibility to live in wilderness before making the big cities hard to explore cause will be fulled with loads of angry and dangerous Zeds, that's maybe why mobs are still few and not so a significant threat ^_^

Read the post please, no one is complaining about bugs or the actual status of the game, we know that's an alpha, i just want to know what for the community need to be fixed before others I suppose every one will chose all options but you just need to select the option you find most annoying ;)

Knife! we need to bring with us a knife to survive, with a knife you can do loads of things, that must be the most important loot and actually no one seems to have one, that's the priority! So put some rare one with attached a can opener ;)

Today cause some trouble on my dsl line i've tried to play in a low populated server just to move a bit my char in order to meet my team mates tonight, as you know if your line speed isn't fast (mine today was blocked at 1 mbs) you will get yellow or red chain every time you in range of another player making you unable to do anything, so i've started dayz and i've ordered the server list for n° of players from the lowest and tried to join on a server with max 2/3 players. Well i've tried to join something like 15 servers avoiding the loads of "test server" and "join = kick" that are in the list in despite of the server rules but the result was always the same: few seconds then a Kick, and every time 300 sec to login again in another server just to be kicked again (and again and again and again), practically i've spent 1 hour trying to find a server where to play in vain.. While i was joining for the umpteenth time a server a simple question passed in my mind: "do we really need to report every server when you just need to order the server list as i've done to find at 99% just loot farms and remove them once for all?" Bah.. by the way after the last try where i was kicked after 10 min of play together with other 10 players i've postponed my dayz session.. :( Then Tonight i've used to play my mobile connection (6 mb) and all was fine, we've joined like always on a well known server with a good population (like 20/40 people) to avoid mass lag and that annoying "fake noise" problem, when we've reached the airfield the server has made a lucky reboot so we've started exploring the area with the usual extreme prudence. I was on the fire station tower as sniper and my team mates where on the ground exploring the hangars, while another well equipped squad of 3 guys has started exploring the same area. to protect my 2 team mates i've shooted and killed one of them, then immediately the server has been stopped, (was about 20 min after the previous reboot) when we've rejoined we've noticed the usual rollback, my team mates that where on the last hangar where been placed two hangars earlier, but the worst thing was that the squad we've seen few minutes before was now near the airfield borders, with the dead guy now alive and clearly knowing exactly my position so i was an easy kill separated from my squad and now without the surprise advantage .. So was that a "tactical reboot" by the server owner? Is that possible? Not much to say.. just a shitty day on dayz but now i understand why peoples are complaining so much about violations in server use, and now i must agree with them that this kind of problems need to be solved asap like others major bugs actually in the game cause this kind of problems are really more annoying then anything else. :(

A simply loot balance with the poeple on server it's too hard? Airfield with 1 person on the server 10 loots Airfield with 20 person 50 loots Airfield with 30+ person full loot.. And it's done -

Yesterday Dean has said there will be areas where you can't login like players bases, so i hope they will add the same protection to the high loot areas like big cities and military areas, after all logout (camp) in dense zeds popoulated areas will be too risky and unrealistic -
A simple idea inspired by a true hardcore mode . Add a variants of the hardcore game with a dedicated character where when you die you cant respawn for 24h (or a week) obiviously you can still play normal and hardcore mode. For clan playstyle that will be really immersive And let's see how many still KOS ;)

Agree, as well as naked beach punchers will vanish soon cause also fresh spawn has something to lose, actually some idiot players risk their life for the few hours of play cause they have very few to lose, like running for elektro trying to kill well equipped players cause if they die they can simply come back fast and try again (and again and again and again) and that's not realistic at all..

In real life if you kill someone he will not come back and btw who shoot on sight isn't bullet proof, actually we've lot more KOSers killed on our notes then truoble caused by them.. ;) (before start hunting a squad remember that their snipers can already have an eye on you) By the way i will play a really extreeme hardcore i wonder how many will try a real survival mode

include a line of sight analysis system i suppose it's pretty impossible. So with your idea server hoppers will stay near a safe building and logout instantly if threatened, so i say NO. Just yesterday we've found a bamby shooter dressed like a marine on the rail near Solny, we was there to meet a friend that just started play DayZ, when he has seen us running towards him fully equipped he started running away in panic despite our attempt to speak with him, hidden behind the first corner and started a fast logout ignoring that i was really near, when i've see him cowardly logout i've taked my mosin and placed a 7.62 in his head while he was logging out, in that moments you understand the importance of the 30 sec logout timer, now there's a bamby killer running on the beach with nothing more then a torch. and we've got a full equip in good conditions for our friend (except the helmet ;) ) be aware, cowardly and unrealistic logout may end your life.. > :(
