I think that modded servers might ruin the game as this is game which is based on looting and I know that some people want to play this game on easymode and want to spawn everybody with a gun and the whole game is then tdm kosfest. As for private hives, I think that will stop server hopping. -

Well once I was chased by two fresh spawns with my friend while we were fully geared. We didnt want to get punched. After while my friend started lagging and he got punched and then the fresh spawn took his mosin and I combatlogged. -
You can use same hats to identify each other. Like fully geared group with orange hardhat on. That does stand out :D

Am I the only one who is listening podcasts while playing DayZ? It gets really boring sometimes when you just run from coast to NWAF, so I usually play something in the background.

It is almost better if you dont hear DayZ soundeffects :D Zombienoises, ammo soundeffect and random sodacan opening sounds make you crazy -

Agreed. One disadvantage too is that if I see/hear someone nearby, I need to Alt+Tab to stop what ever I am listening. -

Just do yourself a favor and never go in to Russian server! There are hackers, banditkids, KOS and people who mumble their non sence language :(

So I was watching the town near NEAF through my LRS for about 15 mins just see if people hang out there and suddenly I hear footsteps near me and switch to 3rd person mode and I see fresh spawn one hit punch me. He was laughing very much afterwards :( But I was so well hidden inside that tree, there is no way he could have seen me. I have seen hax used before so this wouldnt be new sadly

I know that. That is why I planned my spot well. It wasnt like a common sniper spot or something. It just felt like a hacker because he was a fresh spawn and this wasnt place you usually see them. I have seen hackers who warp and there are videos on youtube where hackers can see other players.

DayZ forum is pretty popular compared to others I think, but daaamn if I would want to spam shit out of some forum, I would atleast try to write correctly and make this "ad" short and not to this kind of wordgrenade.

I feel you man. Just play some other games as well. There are great gamedeals on Steam. I personally hope that they would remove all of the zeds out of this game until they are done. It would feel more complete game, but now zeds just scream ALPHA to your face because they are so buggy :( -
In a way it is good that there are gamebreaking bugs and all that, because codkids will get bored faster and only real DayZ players will be what is left :)

Btw Is the ruined ammo split glitch actually a glitch? I mean think about it. If you have a pile of rounds and bullet goes trough it, there is no way that every one of them are ruined. -
Nice. But if someday bullet goes trough your vest, you will have a bad time.
