if you have 8 cores you have 16 threads.(2 threads per core) That proc should be fine.

Any news on Linux server support?

+1 for Linux server support. Especially since CFTools has stopped offering people windows server support.

Is there any possibility of compiling the server source into a Linux binary using codelite, and GCC compiler? Is the use of the Dotnet framework prohibiting this?.

Has anyone attempted to get this running on WINE yet? I may take a look at doing so in the near future.

Well i think realistic goes out the window if there are zombies so why not werewolves ... there just as plausible. At least i didn't ask for a sparkly vampire.

In addition i would also like to suggest Mountain Lions. and since there are zombies what do you think about an occasional werewolf.
