also stop justifying your KOS. you had a bad experiance and now you cant trust anyone. i get that, its part of the game. but just like you dont want to hear someone cry about you killing them, others arnt going to care why you now always KOS. the guy that killed you when you offered food was wrong, and im sorry that he took advantage of your kindness. im also sorry to see that it brought you down to his level. its a real shame because i think that interaction between you and him could have been a much more interesting aspect of the game then KOSing. hopefully if we ever meet you'll reconsider killing me instantly. i would like nothing more then to work with you share what i have. morphine and bloodbag kits dont work with just one player.

without any way of knowing that you fired warning shots, im sure many other players would assume you where trying to kill them, and subsequently they would then try to kill you. not saying anything about your methods. just making a note.

"you got shot" "you where stabbed" "zombies ate youre flesh" "you fell down and died" yeah, a simple "why" would be nice from time to time. was it the bloodloss or sudden trama that caused this mans death?

i see youre point. i disagree on bandit cops, but i see your point. i mearly wanted to say, i doubt he had intended to be a bandit to the poor fellow. it just ended up that way. Peter not intending to kill Glen Quagmires cat in family guy... still resulted in a dead cat. so points all around.

one does not hunt down and kill the lizardman. one is hunted down, and killed by.... well, they never really know if it was the lizardman or not... one minute sunshine and daises. the next, a black screen saying "you are dead"

youve actualy brought up a very very good point, being the question of "why does he care how others feel". the answer is quite simple really. he cares because he wants to be liked. this is ironic as he (judging by his first post) is going around killing people on site, with little reason, or even killing people who have just spawned in, with zero percent chance to defend themselves. i feel like M. Night Shyamalan wrote this guys backstory... what a twist.

i see that you compleetly abandoned youre dad while he was still alive... sorta abandoned youre mom but im pretty sure anyone would have assumed her to be dead. to be fair your dad was as good as dead too. so hows it feel to be an orphan?

if you happen to find a knife, bayonet, or other small sharp object, you can carry that around to open cans. yeah you lose some, but its a hell of a lot easyer to find more cans than it is to find that damned opener.

the one time i found one i ended up with three. i kept tellingmyself i would give the extras to someone who needed one. i just hope that bandit made use of at least one of them lol.

quick clerification. a little KOS is alright. "i think theres a chance that guy is the same guy who just tried to kill me 20 min ago" its when you get killed over and over and over again that things start to get upsetting.

i find it sometimes takes neaerly 30 minutes just to get to where anything has spawned. weather or not its anything useful is another mater all together. ive gone hours having weapons and ammo that doesnt match, or i need a magazine. now thats my experiance, and youres may differ, but thats the first issue in this. A.) ive played video games long enough to know that im going to get killed in them. even games where i was the best person in the room. it stinks the most when theres a bit of lag going on, as you can end up shooting someone and thinking you hit them 20 times in the face and they still didnt go down, or they keep teleporting around. its normal to want to say that some one was hacking in that. B.) ive not once logged into the game with the intent to find and kill another player. or even rob them. i hold onto usefull items that i dont think ill need incase i run accross someone whos willing to trade, or even simply to give to someone in need. that being said, when i get unloadded on and someone picks though the ruined bits of gore, i take offense. i would have given them what they needed, and now no one gets anything. KOS only does one thing in the game. remove a possible danger. because you can ruin all of the stuff the other player had, you reduce your possible gain. the goal of the game isnt kills, its surviving. there is no reward for ending someone elses survival. im not saying killing other players doesnt belong in the game, but you have other options, you can take a players items without killing them. if you disagree lets remove the F3 function and use it for something else. C.) unless you REALLY need a flashlight or a Tshirt for rags to bandage yourself, this is only serving to upset people. the problem with alot of video gamers is they dont realize someone else is playing that other entity, and everyone "should" be trying to have fun. again, killing me is fine, but PLEASE, dont make my death be something as meaninglyless as "felt like it". its a game, lets have fun :P

holding a guy up to see if hes a bandit isnt banditry... its just not really how you determin if some one is a bandit. its kind of like a cop pulling someone over to ask what they are doing out driving so late at night. "well officer, i work the night shift. this is an early night for me" i agree that you were abusing the ingame mechanics. though i too hate how far spawns are from anything.

what they would need to impliment is incentive to not kill people as soon as you see them. id much rather be held up and have to start looting stuff again than be killed. it takes forever to get to where i can get any sort of anything. or maybe just spawn a crap load of zombies around you if you do shoot... that could work to.

if some one did this to me my first reaction would be to join them.i would say "gee, he seems nice, and there is safety in numbers. we can check houses faster, share loot (theres always more then one person needs, you just have to find it first). he already gave me a gun, so why not" people who go around saying "you cant fix it so just kill everyone" are ironicly the reason why it cant be fixed. this is unfortunitly one of those problems that feeds into itself. a new player gets KOSed right after he figures out how to get to the gear, so he figures thats the aim of the game. sunday night i spawned in a fresh survivor and ran into a building. suddenly i started hearing a faint noise giving orders and my screen started flashing gray. i knew i was probably lagging and getting shot so i ran outside. suddenly bleeding, and sat down. the guy finnished me off and said "dude i had bandages" im not really sure why he mentioned that after killing me, i was in no way a threat.

good story, im glad some people can be trusted.

thats a really awesome story. totaly did not expect the bag headed guy to be friendly. i'd join your crew for sure.
