Weapons need to spawn with atleast 1 magazine in them.

Agreed somewhat, I'd rather have it random; some may have mags that are empty or with only a couple rounds in it, some without mags, some ruined or damaged instead of pristine etc. ^Freshspawns can already kill you easily with their fists. Or farming hoe, sickle, shovel, pickaxe (which I just found for the first time today) and it goes on :P Besides, once they find a gun with ammo they aren't freshies anymore imo. -
Glad you didn't gank him afterwards :beans: . I wish I could be that calm man, but I'm a coward and would've wasted you when you went for your gun.

Guns still one shot though. I actually like that its so difficult to kill them until you find a gun. Edit: Daw its a bug. Hope they do add a lil bit of toughness to them though, give us a reason to horde ammo just for zeds. Really hope the bodies sticking around and the delayed spawns (and their lootableness) wasn't a bug though. -

Zeds are insaaane. I love it. I was forced to use a shotgun on two that came out of nowhere where I had never seen them spawn before, the burnt out church in the woods. I can't figure out how to throw stuff, or was that taken out before I got on? Other than that, I like it. Server resets and logging haven't wiped my char yet either, glad I can finally enjoy the night :beans:

You can run at an angle like in Skyrim and Fallout. I agree though, it should be a bit steeper before they force us to walk.

For some reason, I think there would be more than just temporary sight loss taking spray paint to the eyes lol I like it though!

1.It is KoS. Just because you waited for five seconds when he was totally defenseless doesn't mean its not KoS. 2.You call it a 'bandit' kill, figured you were calling yourself a bandit. 3.There is much much more you can do with or to other players than kill them. Use your imagination :P

I guess I'm just not lucky enough to get on when a server restarts, but I've ran from Berezino to Svetlo to Novy and every town, car, toolshed in between before finally falling unconscious due to starvation halfway to the newish town in the NW. I was able to find three berries in that time and that's it.

He's talking about experimental, even far inland you'll be lucky to find rotten fruit. Also you'll starve long before you can find more than one or two berries, unless they patched the crazy low drop rates in the most recent exp patch.

One punch doesn't knock you unconscious unless you're walking around half dead from the start. A mosin round to the head while wearing a ballistic helmet though should at least knock you out, you're lucky if you survive it.

You will eventually. I've met a few, though I may not have been killed simply because I had the upper hand, or they had no ammo etc. Don't rush in blindly, as ChristmasLunch said, try to only make contact when you're hidden. Don't expect any friendlies where guns spawn though. Also, don't push your luck if you do happen upon a 'friendly' and afk, or get too comfortable. Best make contact short and sweet, don't want to have it soured with a knife in the back.

Realistic enough for me. Would certainly rather have this than letting people spray the crap out of me and everything stay pristine.

I like it. Finding items in pristine condition is really the only thing to do other than KoS. Its realistic, plus it means that asshole that killed you won't benefit much, aside from not being killed themselves ^_^

Damn that's too bad, was hoping it was still dropping. Guy was probably on a char he hadn't used in forever or something. Congrats though, that must've been intense. I'd think it would be easy to generate, from what I've read all they did was remove it from the loot table, the code is still in the files. Not sure if that's true or not, but it made sense at the time.

Apparently they took them out though? There was even a thread I read the other day where someone discussing if a player they saw wearing one in a vid had hacked it in, or if they had just lived on that char for months with it since they took it out of the loot spawns.
